Gotta say, I enjoyed the first issue.

It was good to see Shriek back, even if I was confused that Doppelganger is alive.

Maybe that will be explained as time goes on, but I have my doubts as Black Cat had no memory of Carnage in the Toxin series. Continuity does not seem to be Wells's strength.

Another two months for issue 2. Dang.

Interesting, hmm, so can you give any spoiler run down? I'm curious to who's the host, and how ol' symby got back.

None of that has been shown yet. Here's what happened.

In a nut shell, Doppelganger is chasing an armored car and Iron Man initially thinks its Spider-Man, calling him on a cell phone to make sure. Peter joins in the chase, surprised to see Doppel back for the first time since Max Carnage. Iron Man and Spider-Man eventually subdue the creature but an angry mob starts beating on them. Two armor clad men show up and subdue the crowd, and they are business rivals of Stark. Inside the armored car, its shown that the cargo is Shriek, in a prison transfer, which explains why the crowd suddenly turned on Peter and Tony. The guards put her in another room in the car, which is revealed to be housing the symbiote. Shriek is visibly uncomfortable being near it, making the guards mock her saying that they used to be good friends.

The issue ends with a note that the issues will be shipped every two months, instead of monthly.
