The characters's "THEN & NOW" THREAD

The only thing that has changed is his facial expression.

Nah he became a caging, lying SOB. that's quite a change from the wise, humanity-loving pacifist and father figure he was in the first two.

There are characters who don't change that much, especially male characters. Female characters seem changed because mostly they change their haircuts like Storm or Jean and even Rogue. Mystique seems pretty much the same.

Mystique did actually change if you look closely.

X1: Her hairline is a complete solid prosthetic, with the hair coming up from underneath it. Her skin tone, though not as easily distinguishable from the pic, was also a much brighter bolder blue.
Her eyes were also different this time around. She no longer wore contacts like in X1, this time her eyes were digitally coloured.

X2: Her hairline was fixed, this time piecing the hair so it seems to grow out of the head instead of a prosthetic forehead simply being placed over the hair and letting it flow out underneath.

X3: Pretty much exactly the same as X2. There were make-up improvements and different techniques used to apply the make-up and a different kind of prothestics used, though it was not visably different.

LMAO! Pyro sure has changed alot.

are Latinos a race? never thought so.

I'm sorry, would you rather I use the word ethnicity, or should I switch Latino to Hispanic, yikes I don't even know if Hispanic is a race. Is it?

no complaints from me, i have no problem with that, just wanted to know...i thought the "races" (if you can ever have them) were only like white, black and yellow.

Honestly, when you pointed that out to me, the concept of races blurred even more in my mind, now I have no idea.

I think kitty has changed the most lol

good call on that one. I didnt really mind the first girl as Kitty, but I still like Ellen as well.

katie stuart looked really really young in X2 compared to the girl in X1.

Sooo glad he didn't appear in his human form over the whole movie- would've liked a mini-flashback or something tho

ya, so, were they just ignoring the cameo in x2 or did he only recently change into beast, cause, they make references to him being a former member of the x-men, and he had one of the old suits and stuff, (what do you think storm meant by the comet about his hair) was he just a member when he still looked human, or was he always beast, and the cameo in X2, may he used, a stand in, or a holographic appearances generator? though, the scene with leech, leads me to think, that he was beast for longer then just since x2. just a few thought

Bobby had some good character evolution...

X1 - He had a slight "player" attitude with the Storm's Class scene, mixing both with his interaction with Rogue, and the other girls' reactions. He seemed to be popular as well.

X2 - He had hints at a slight matchoness when he first met Logan. He seemed to enjoy showing off to his family in Boston. His playful side was seen at multiple points, such as when he turned around to look at Rogue undressing. A real character arc (which continued into X3) sprouted when he, unlike Rogue, Logan and especially Pyro, wouldn't take initiative at his home. He didn't seem to step up when it came to truly pressing matters, though he acted as if he could.

X3 - This film continued Bobby's then-subtle arc. He didn't want to fight Pyro, though he was aware of John's path and had heard the multiple insults made toward him and Rogue at the Cure center. His flirtacious and playful characteristics were the most obvious here when he showed interest quite a few times in Kitty. He easily showed off when using his powers when trying to impress, but also help, Kitty with the frozen fountain. He finally took initiative and took on Pyro, beating his old friend. He had a few jokes, as well, such as "You never should have left."

I credit X3 for making Bobby better.

physically bobby didn't change much. lol.

lol i have no idea, just from some picture comparisons ppl have posted. but you're right about bobby, i think if anyone has had any development over the three movies it's him, since between X2 and X3 a lot of characters got shafted, even ones who previously had bigger, more developed roles (aka Rogue)

Lets see... Jean was alive then...and NOW she's dead.
Again... Scott was alive then...and NOW he's dead too.

-sighs- and they were such a cute couple...i have a headache.
