The flight in the xfilms

Me neither. There was nothing wrong with Angel's wings or flight. Anyone who says otherwise is just moaning for the sake of it.

Angel's flight was excellent. The rest of them should have been like that

I didn't have a problem with the effect itself, at least not with the first scene. What I think is it was short, and all in the same direction. If he had other scene in the city, with more movements, not just a one line movement, but with some maneuvers, I would have been pleased.

And one more thing, what I don't liked at all was the use of the icon that means an "angel".

I posted a comment in the last page, I'll do it again so you all can read it and give your thoughts:

Everyone has commented Storm and Phoenix... but what about Angel?

Personally, I was dissapointed. Only two flight moments, short, and the last really poor.

When I watched one of the first episodes of Heroes, the scene when Peter Petrelli was in the top of the bulding was really great, the music... all.

Edit: That scene was beautifull, in general. The music gives the scene a magical tone, something extraordinary, special, emotional. So definetly, much much better than the first Angel scene.

A few more shots to the Angel scene, with a more emotional/epic music, and maybe a few comments by some humans in the streets, impressed with a real angel flying under them, would have made a perfect Angel sequence, in my opinion.

I agree we should have seen more shots of Angel flying Angamb. A close up of him flying over San Fran would have been nice and, as we all know, it was intended that he fly more in Alcatraz with the animatics on the DVD showing a great Angel POV shot as he flew into Alcatraz.

I'm generally happy with the flying/levitating we got in the X-Men movies but I would have liked more more more!

for those who saw Ironman, or the last Batman trailer... what do you think about the flight shots?

From what I've seen, both are very well done. Iron Man's flight shots are great and, from what I've seen of The Dark Knight, Batman's are too.
