I loved that opening theme from Chris. I've always liked his voice and it went really well with the credits and the movie. I have to get the soundtrack now.

At first I was like wait I know that voice, is it, and a second later I knew it, I was like yes it is, then it showed his name in the creds. :woot: :word:

I hate it, great film opening to a sh1ty song. I hated TND and DAD title songs.

I liked GE and TWINE title sons.

I liked it as well.

I thought the original rock version was just a fairly unforgetable, run-of-the-mill rock song, but I thought the arrangement used in the movie was really great

It's a horrible song. It doesn't fit James Bond and the James Bond universe. James Bond songs have to be a bit more energetic and inventive. This song was like...whatever. Seriously, if you listen to all the other Bond songs from the last 40 years you'll realize this new song is probably the worst one ever.

Looks like someone never heard Die Another Day or The Man With the Golden Gun.

I've heard them and I think this one is worse.

The World is not Enough is a Horrible song, it's so dull. You know my name is fantastic.

I love the song.
One of my favorite Bond themes.

Songs that SUCK:

Die Another Day
Moonraker
All Time High
A View to a Kill

These are all pretty s***** compared to "You Know My Name." I'm sure there are others I've forgotten as well, but these songs immediately spring to mind when I think of crap Bond themes. Anyone who thinks this song is worse than "DaD" is...well, not smart. At least Cornell tried to produce a good song.

Too bad he and David Arnold actually did. :oldrazz:

The song takes time to get used to, but I liked it. How many versions are there? I got a version without any orcharstral intruments on MP3.

I loved it.

I think it was just a different attempt into making a new Bond. First guy to sing a Bond theme in a long time too. But, I dug it. With the credits rolling...it seemed to fit perfectly, I thought.

I didn't love the song when I first heard it....but after seeing it over the opening credits twice now it has really grown on me.

I thought the song rocked as well. Very fitting for the reimagining of Bond. I can't imagine a slower, more classical sounding song working for this type of Bond film. You Know My Name grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go.

best bond song ever, imo.

and a View to a kill was badass, whoever bashed it sucks!

Yeah I like it a lot actually, Like others said it fits the new Bond well. I also really like the lyrics. "The coldest blood through my veins you know my name" And the horns are fantastic.

The song is awful, but it didnt sound bad in the opening.

You Know My Name is for ME a very very very good song! First time i enjoyed watching the opening sequence with the song!

Nice done also with the shadows and changing to Bond and back to shadows!!!

Hear, hear. This song rocks.

EDIT: I haven't seen it in the movie, but I heard it on the radio today. I love it
