Look, The Battle Flag NEVER represented a government! It was a military flag. In my opinion ONLY legitimate government flags should fly on Government buildings on a daily basis. The Flag should be taken down from the state building.

In my opinion this flag is best left to be flown on personal property and historical reenactment events.

I just love how some people want to remove all potential negative items from our history while our children are wearing Che Guevera tshirts! Makes you wonder what the agenda really is?!

Lots of people disapprove of both Che Guevara T-shirts and the Confederate flag.

And the confederate flag is far more common than Che shirts. Not a day goes by where I don't see a confederate flag on someone's truck and I live in the North East.

So what? This is like someone saying, we should ban trans fats because they cause obesity. And then the other person saying, no we shouldn't ban trans fats, because people can still become obese based on sugar.

Racism will never disappear! ALL ethnicities have racism ingrained their ethnic conscience. The problem is that Europeans had a technological advantage and they acted like the good little Roman descendants that they are and took resources away from their colonies while using European supremacy to justify it.

You completely ignore the societal factors that contribute to poverty. I get that your dad came to America with next to nothing and built himself up to be successful, but that is merely anecdotal evidence.

Poverty is not color blind when there are larger issues at play here; The over-representation of minorities in the prison system, the rates at which they're arrested versus whites, the state of the homes and neighbourhoods that they live in, etc.

This "liberal" crap that you keep spouting off is really getting tiring. You should do some actual research and not rely on what you witness to make generalizations about something.

Im not interested in comparing the lives on one poor white guy against one poor black guy. Where would that conversation honestly lead us? Life experiences are not evidence for wider societal issues. That much is obvious. Google "anecdotal evidence." It's what you're trying to spin into fact. That's like seeing/hearing an Asian person yell a racial slur at a black person and assuming that all Asians are racist towards blacks.
