I love this film, i just wanted to know everyone elses thoughts and opinions on it, From the casting, the graphic Novel to the soundtrack, anything at all.

Fantastic film! Brandon Lee had so much potential to do other roles and become a well-respected actor, but of course, tragedy prevented that from happening. I liked how the Cure and NIN was featured on the soundtrack.

As for the movie in general, I loved that movie before Hot Topic got ahold of it and it became "cool" to buy the merchandise (kind of like the Nightmare Before Christmas). The sequels, on the other hand, sucked horribly and were a waste of time and money. I really really hope nobody makes plans to remake the original Crow in the future.

In the wake of "The Dark Knight", I couldn't help but think how Ledger's Joker makeup reminded me of Brandon's Crow look.

And I am saddened by the fact that after giving such mesmerising performances, neither actor lived to see his film's release.
I'd also like to add that I deeply, truly wish that they hadn't sullied this brilliant film (back to "The Crow") by making a sequel; especially one as uninspired and lackluster as "City Of Angels".

Love the Crow. Seen it a few times in theaters. I hope this gets a High Def release sometime.

The original Crow has not been sullied by its sequels.

Only if you choose not to acknowledge their existence.

I acknowlege their existence, yet when I watch the first Crow its still the same movie I saw before the sequels. Go figure!

I didn't mean that my enjoyment is ruined; only that the good name is tarnished.

I'll buy that.
Nevertheless, it's one of the SCANT few non-Marvel comic movies in my DVD collection.

I'm a big fan of The Crow. The sequels weren't great, but I defend COA because it got slaughtered by Miramax and would've been much better if the director was able to release his preferred cut.

ot just the make-up, very similar performances. They both both go through their films doing whatever they like, killing their targets and being silly.

The Crow is quite possibly the #1 most well done comic adaptation ever. It changed just enough to make it amazing. Sin City and 300 were too faithful and other movies tend to deviate.

I think the Crow is close to as good (maybe even AS GOOD for the time) as the Dark Knight.

Its a shame we only got one sequel that was semi-worthwhile.

I haven't seen it yet, but I highly doubt it's nearly as good as TDK, sounds a bit absurd. And I find it odd how similar Lee and Ledger looked with and without the make-up.

^The Crow is an amazing movie, one of THE best CB movies ever, and while i dont share that opinion, I can TOTALLY see how people would say its as good as TDK.

i remember when i saw this film as a kid i thought The Crow was the bad guy, this is a great movie and is in my top 10 comic book films

its not hard. Superficially he has a lot in common with the common slashers. Ghostly dark appearance, back from the dead, had a little too much fun screwing with his victims. If you werent paying attention to the story, you could easily misjudge that.

I love the pawn shop scene. That reminds me the most of Heath's Joker.

"Didn't you hear me rapping!?"

^^^Oh hell yeah. I love that line and "is that gasoline I smell?"

This movie is definitely one of my favorite movies ever. The comic compared to the movie: Very well done. I haven't read it in a while. The weird thing is that I don't own that one. My friend had it which is how I got to read it, after I saw the movie.

Now The Crow is one of those movies that the soundtrack went perfectly with. Nine Inch Nails, My Like with the Thrill Kill Kult, The Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain ,Helmet and many more. The entire cd is by far one of the best soundtracks, imo.

Can't rain all the time...

They actually just put the original series back in print as a TPB.

And yea that music for that movie was excellent it really fit with how the movie looked visually. I love every scene with him playing guitar.

When you put it that way, I guess I can see it.
