I hope they don't cover his hair. I don't like that look in the comics, in which he looked like he is about to dive into the deep ocean, with his googles on. The only thing missing was the breathing piece.

>Mid to late 30s for Cyke, Jean, Storm, Emma (if present)
>late 20s-early 30s for Gambit, Rogue, Bobby, Angel (if present)
>Early-Mid 20s for Kitty Pryde
>Late teens-early 20s for Jubilee
>Not sure about Nightcrawler pretty wide range.
>No idea for Wolverine as there is some time till Hugh gets to 90.

I want most of the X-Men to be in late 20s to early 30s.

Jubilee, Shadowcat and Iceman could be the younger ones but not teenagers.

The Professor and the Wolverine obviously as the older ones.

I bet they kinda knew that, when they already brought back 3 actors from that era. Having some more (Marsden, Halle, Famke, Anna) wouldn't hurt.

The reboot though needs to be amazing with a stellar cast. Or else it's going to be like First Class/Apocalypse/Dark Phoenix again. In hindsight, the likes of Sophie-Tye-Alexandra were only involved with the series for two films and yet it felt much longer during those times. I really wonder what would been like if they just continued with the OT cast after DOFP. The Professor, the Wolverine, Jean, Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Iceman, Rogue, Kitty and Colossus - its still a huge cast, and adding some new faces would have been a lot more interesting than what we got in 2016.

It kinda amazes how he managed to book that role. Another trilogy under his resume. We know in Hollywood, its not that common, actors get to join several film franchises, then to appear in 3 films from both of those franchises.

Apparently there are rumors about Sadie Sink being considered for Jean Grey. If true, I'm not sure who around similar age could play Scott. Nicholas Hamilton from "It", maybe?

wait, taking a look at some articles/quotes from him, apparently he is gay, so actually he could be a great Iceman, isnt it?
he has that boy scout look, no doubt, but at the same I see him as Bobby, he seems to be playful and would fit bobby nicely

We should probably expect them to cast early twenty year olds for a movie like this so they can get as many sequels as possible.

Also, I think it’ll be interesting to watch Scott go from naive young kid into seasoned John Connor general

not to mention that Harris is 28 years old. Seems like the perfect candidate, looks young enough but by the sequel he will be over 30 so he will be and look more seasoned.

Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Brie Larson were cast in their late 20s. Depends what's the actual plan for the next 15 years of the X-Men/MCU but I don't want most of the X-Men to look 10 to 15 years younger than established MCU main characters. Tom Holland in comparison, would turn 30 before the X-Men reboot comes out.

Yeah but the majority of xmen were students when they started. Not all but for the main ones plus let’s be honest that’s a big demographic for Disney and marvel because of theme parks and cartoons and merch etc
