PS: I voted for Wolverine. I don't really care, but now I'm starting to hate Cyclops and I can't wait to see him bite the dust on screen.

I understand, but the whinning is way too much, it's way out of control. In the last year, every day the same old song: "Where is Cyclops, no Cyclops, I don't like this...". Every piece of promo, every pic, trailer, poster was enjoyed by a bunch of people except the same group over and over again "Where is Cyclops, no Cyclops, I don't like this..."

They KILLED the character in the story that was about him and Jean, and then replaced him with the character that is his greatest rival in the comics and is strongly disliked by most of his fans. There is NO bigger insult they could have given the character and his fans.

If it was your favorite character, you'd be pissed too.

And people dreaded every promo because they were all further proof that the bastards at FOX were killing him off for yet ANOTHER Wolverine fest.

Thanks to the Wolverine character, the Dark Phoenix Saga has been bastardizied and Cyclops is now dead in the movies.

So nothing personally personal, but I have nothing but feeling of hatred for the character at the moment.

And I never thought I could hate Wolverine more than I already did.

But now I do.

I don't have a favorite, but I don't like what they did to Cyclops. I absolutely agree that his death is unnecessary and it makes the story pooer, but a lot of people are acting like if the people at FOX are doing this because they hate Cyclops fans everywhere.

Wolverine fans don't care about our arguements anyway. They're too busy enjoying themselves as their character (again) takes the spotlight.

Yeah, it can hardly be taken seriously.

And i know Wolverine would win a vote in any legitimate poll. I've lived with the characters undeserved popularity since the 70's. But the way it's affected this movie is the last straw.

Plus Marvel has a tendancy nowadays to fashion their comics after their movies...and that could bode ill for Cyke in the comics.
