I saw this movie last night and i thought it kicked ass. i was confused somewhat but it all came together. What do you all think about it?

The book is better.

And there's about a half dozen threads on this movie.

The Da Vinci Code sucks. It has about as much factual evidence as the Blair Witch Project.

it's an ok film...nothing to get worked over about..i haven't read the book, but i'm sure it's better than the film

Read the book. The movie is a watered-down mess. The only things that make it worthwhile are solid performances by Paul Bettany and Ian McKellan. Ron Howard, as far as I can tell, was afraid to present the message of the book in its entirety.

Wow, you must hate most movies then, if you're basis on what makes a good movie is how much factual evidence it's based on. You know what, there's no factual evidence that robots can transform themselves into guns...

Or that radiation can make lizards become large enough to destory cities...

Summer blockbuster without action and with a big quanity of dialogues, which sounds like boring hystorical leacture??? Meh...

I haven't seen the movie, but the book is always better.

I'm hoping to see it this weekend, as long as it's true to the book I'll be happy.
