I always wonder where the tumbler was peeling out to? Was there a special hidden ramp exit for it?
The "that" in the question is Black Dynamite.OK. So your work on The Dark Knight came after that?
Michael: That came far after that. Yeah.
Let me ask you real quick about your role as Gambol in the The Dark Knight. When his death scene comes, is that a cut moment? Thats kind of like you just see him crumple to the ground. Hes got the knife in the mouth and then was there a shot that they cut?
Michael: Well, theres a lot that they cut out. Gambol was not intended on dying. It wasnt a death, actually. And my mouth gets cut. But it was an effort to shorten the movie. They had to cut down a whole lot. And a lot of my stuff that I shot was really compressed and cut down. And they had to just kind of get rid of the character in a way.
But thats not what was intended when we shot.
Where was the additional footage in the script, though? Gambol has no more scenes after his mouth gets cut. The only additional "scene" that's completely missing is the one showing Joker leaving the fundraiser. Here's an interview Michael Jai White and Scott Sanders did for their movie Black Dynamite. Michael is asked about his fate in the movie. Sounds like most of Gambol landed on the cutting room floor.
Here is the link to the interview.
Where was this shot btw? It's from the Domino's trailer;

Just alternate takes of different scenes, not deleted.http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=0KGFG-PhPxs
0.22 - 0.30 = it's not similar to the movie, I mean the way how Joker speaks it's slightly than in the movie... watch the moment Kill the Batman.
1.58 - 1.59 - there is a scene with Joker saying "You'll see I show you"... I don't remember that was in interrogation scene... or it was since I saw TDK more that 5 fimes.

1:22 - "Then you're gonna love me" (we see Batman saying that phrase, but in the movie we heard only his voice)
Am I the only one who thinks that's pretty big news? I mean that's quite a lot of stuff that was cut out..Michael: Well, theres a lot that they cut out. Gambol was not intended on dying. Haha wow never mind my last post there, total brain fart moment...I'd have to see what they cut out to be sure. It could be a case of him filming only a minute's more worth of scene to which he sees it as a "lot" more.
I'm sure there's a bunch of things cut from the film, but as far as whole scenes or plot points? I not t'ink so.*

I always wondered what this was.
Yeah, I don't recall any scene where Joker was even near a car. Didn't we see some behind the scenes footage of the Joker getting into a car on a street, too?
The thug in the driver's seat looks like one of the goons that was with him when he crashed the party.
Theres your answert:
I think that scene was Joker leaving the party![]()
Unused footage of the Joker!

This was posted in the Joker Thread, but I figured a lot of people probably haven't seen it.
