its sad this stuff happens. look at van gough. died miserable and broke and now his paintings hang for millions of dollars in the homes of the rich. so many great artists never get to make it for their own reception. this isnt to say that art=self-torture or some BS like that, but just that its sad that so many great talents haven't been able to see the world appreciate their work.

i went yesterday but by the time i got there, there was already a crowd several rows deep. Christian Bale signed the most autographs, which was cool. Aaron Eckhart signed some too and really enjoyed the crowd, he even came up to the crowd a second time when leaving the theater after the movie. everyone else pretty much stayed away from the crowd. i too wondered why Lauren Conrad and the Gossip Girl stars were doing there, my camera was turned off when they showed up because i didn't want to waste my battery and film on the likes of them. Josh Hartnett showed up late and ran in quickly, not stopping for pics or anything, then again hurried away when the movie was over.
