The Dark Knight The Dark Knight... Your thoughts?

Not so much cut, but just delivered either differently or apart of actual dialogue. That may sound disappointing since the trailers are just great, but it comes across very well in the actual movie.

It's as if they did additional takes on the lines for the marketing and then used them most effectively in the movie itself.

Alfred's "some men just want to watch the world burn" gave me goosebumps.

Hmmm...I'm sure it'll be great. I probably wouldn't even notice the difference in dialogue if I hadn't watched the trailers a billion times each. This is the only movie that I've ever actually watched the trailers for it over and over...

Exactly, I had just watched the trailers really so I felt I knew exactly how certain scenes would be but was pleasantly surprised.

It's kinda like the whole thing with "We're tonight's entertainment!" where they had different versions of it for different ads.

i saw all the trailers and all the clips, and half of them werent where i thought they would be

i cant wait to see this movie!!! I worked ina cinema last march and everytime the trailer came on everyone kind of stopped in their tracks to watch it...i saw it a million times a day and it STILL made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Unfortunatly I have to wait until the 25th/26th to go and see it so ill be blocking my eyes and ears if i even THINK someone might spoil it for me!!! For now im content with egtting my TDK fix from the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7czGgDsmEE

Yeah that and I've seen him say "Why so serious?" a couple different ways as well. Nolan is known for doing quite a bit of multiple takes. That's why they weren't worried about any dubbing or re-shoots for Heath cause they had so much footage.

Yeah I was pretty shocked in how different some scenes played out compared to the trailers we had gotten before. In a way I really enjoyed it but a couple I was kind of bummed out about, like
Joker's "I like that" line was very different (more scary) but the tongue one we were given from the trailers I loved so much haha. It was so perfect how he did it and then played with the knife afterwards. A lot more was different but the changes surprised me (which I think Nolan was trying to do perhaps)

Most of the Joker lines were delivered different in the movie, they are all better though.

And anyone thinking they were ruining stuff by watching the trailers and tv spots don't worry. You haven't seen much and once you are in the theater sitting down you will forget everything and will be shocked to see everything on the big screen.

Just came back from the New Zealand premier, by back i mean to an all night internet cafe cause i traveled just to see it at New Zealands only Imax and have to wait for a bus back home.

New Zealand didn't seem to get as into it as other places and there was no news coverage and i was the only one dressed as the joker (no pics sorry guys, dont have a camera)

All up i miust say it was worth the trip to see it on imax and the movie did meet my expectations which were already high.... other than that this is a pointless post.
