What would you guys and gals say to a seperate studios from WB? Are you a fan of waiting for your favourite heroes to fly on screen? Or would you rather have something like marvel with films being pumped out at regular intervals?

On one hand the hype grows with time, but it's sooooooo hard having to see marvel get on with things. Just think of the films that could be? Any thoughts are welcome:)

If they ran it like DC Animation studios I'd be all for it.

Dont know why WB hasnt done this years ago in the first place. Seems like a no brainer.

I voted yes. The fact that DC doesn't have a studio like Marvel Studios running their film division is one of the main reasons we have so few DC movies.

Two reasons. One is simple, internal politics. Nobody wants to lose turf, and that means not giving up control over whichever portions of the IP they've got.

The other is more complicated. Basically, if WB were to create a true DC Studios, with its own infrastructure, that infrastructure has to come from somewhere. Personnel and equipment have to come from somewhere. They could cannibalize said material and people from their existing structure, but that would probably mean no net change in movie production: more DC movies might get made, and other movies would not. Or, they could pay to buy new ones from scratch, which involves paying a *lot* of money. . . and still no hard guarantee that DC Studios would bring in more bucks, especially with having to offset the investment cost.
