The December fanfic contest and prize

The announcement for so strange reason is gone, but the contest is still going

Theme: Submit a story featuring your favorite hero from an established company celebrating the Holidays. ALL Hype rules apply so keep your story pg13/12A or under rating wise.

there is no word limit.

Voting: You will be able to rate each entry instead just voting your favorite. the voting should look like this

A-6
b-7
C-5

etc. the highest accumulative score will be declared the winner. If you don't win and want to know your score pm Lobo

Do NOT vote on your own entry or your votes will not be counted.

Submit all entries to the username Fanfic Entries. When you vote on the entries also send it to the Fanfic name. FAn FILMS ARE ACCEPTED this month, but no longer than 10-15 minutes and no cursing w/o first censoring Hype rules apply to film as well.

All entries must be received by Dec 22 and you'll have 1 week to vote.

As a special prize for this month, the winner will receive a mention on the main page along with a link to the fic

I might enter. When you say established company... does that mean DC, Marvel, Vertigo, IDW, Dark Horse, Image, Top Cow etc?

I would think so. Just not anyone you made up yourself as the main character.

Well obviously not, but Dark Horse for instance has Buffy comics. I suppose you're referring to original comic book characters, meaning people that exist or have existed only in comics.

No Buffy, Star trek, Star Wars, Anime characters all fair game , just not original characters I'm saving that for a future contest

No limit at all, if all you want to write is "Superman and Lois spent Christmas at Santa's house and a good time was had by all" that's fine, but not very entertaining, remember, your peers will be judging and discussing each entry on a scale of 1-10

PM all entires to the username "Fanfic Entries". Yes that is a real name, Just be aware that the site does not allow PMs to be as long as a regular posts so you will probably have to send your entry in more than one PM, just lable them part one, part two ect. That's what I had to do for mine.
