I wanna say to the Dinosaur, that we have a girl at our school that thinks at the age 21 she will turn to one. This isn't a lie, she is crazy.

This reminds me of a dinosaur special I watched on tape countless times as a kid in the 80s. I cant remember the name of it, but the dinosaur facts were framed around a narrative about a tall nerdy guy who is on a quest to get a cure for his friend who claims he is turning into a dinosaur. The cure was some water from the Crystal Palace in England, but the guy didnt get it in time the show ends with the friend having turned into a stop-motion dinosaur complete with 80s sunglasses and porn star mustache. I wish I could remember the name of it...its been over 20 years since I watched it.
Edit: This isn't it, but this is another one I watched a lot as a kid. Starring....FRED SAVAGE.

Found it! The one I was talking of was called "Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs", but that's apparently one of several shows they did:The premise you provided Spider Who sounds very familiar.
