I was reading up on dinosaurs today, and I thought I'd give this thread the old Bumpity Bump.

I'm just now learning that paleontologists have found actual skin imprints in fossilized rock (I know. Several years late). I love this stuff .

This reminds me of a dinosaur special I watched on tape countless times as a kid in the 80s. I can’t remember the name of it, but the dinosaur facts were framed around a narrative about a tall nerdy guy who is on a quest to get a cure for his friend who claims he is turning into a dinosaur. The cure was some water from the Crystal Palace in England, but the guy didn’t get it in time – the show ends with the friend having turned into a stop-motion dinosaur complete with 80’s sunglasses and porn star mustache. I wish I could remember the name of it...it’s been over 20 years since I watched it.

I watched this a million times as a kid! But I only saw part one where some tall white guy ended up getting a piece of petrified Dino poo.... Sound familiar?
