The Dinosaur Thread

Where in the Bible does it say that Dinosaurs were a prototype for Humans? If you can believe things were refined then humans came, this is basically a simplistic way of explaining the mechanism behind human evolution. Because the dinosaurs were wiped out, it contributed to the reshuffling in the biosphere for the eventual creation of the Hominid line 20 Million years ago.

Gonna be honest I was really tired when typing that, and prototype was not the word I meant to use. What I meant was those early days before creating humans, dinosaurs were animals that existed, and the 7 days are more metaphorical than actual real week.

Alls I know about Jurassic Park, is when the raptors got a hold of that hunter dude, they were all "Nom nom nom."

Aside though, ankylosaurus was my fave.

May not be weird. Might have been a common evolutionary trait in all dinosaurs after a point but obviously that is only speculation.

Nice! That's bloody huge!

I bought my 6 year old son some fossils for Easter from fossilera.com. They came in plastic Easter eggs and paper grass was filled in the box. The other lower dollar option was minerals, but I didn't think he'd be as impressed. He was super excited and said he always wanted a fossil collection. I honestly had no idea, so mom did good. :D

Now my next task is finding the proper way to store these Millions of years old fossils.

Sounds like a cool present!

Meh, for movie purposes, one long-necked herbivore is pretty much like any other. The predators are what the audiences pay to see.

Allosaurus is my favorite! I hope it is the villain of a Jurassic Park/World movie at some point in the future.

I’d like to see that.

Ah, the Allosaurus, the forgotten carnivore. Kind of a beta villain in the dinosaur universe, really. Like The Vulture or Loki, you'd have to get a really charismatic actor to play him. I'm thinking Jake Gyllenhaal.
