Been thinking about starting this series of books. Any fans here? Thoughts? I know there's 17 books in the series so far

It is a fairly enjoyable series, imo. A word of warning, the early books are a bit rough, and there is a clear progression in his writing abilities as the series progresses. He creates a fun universe.

I will say, however, I am beginning to side eye some of his choices in later books.

Thank you :).

Jim Butcher is going to be at a Con I'm going to tomorrow. So figured I'd ask. Maybe I'll pick up some books.

Also I know there was a TV show. Have you seen it? Is it worth a watch? I know Det. Lance from Arrow plays Dresden.

Yeah, I saw the show. VERY bad thing to judge the books by.

So I bought Storm Front. I'll probably start reading that on Monday

The audiobooks are well worth a listen, too, even when you’ve already read the books. James Marsters does an excellent job as narrator.

I have four books of this series on Kindle but haven't read them yet. (I have a huge pile of unread books). This conversation is inspiring me to move them closer to the top. :)

Just started the first book of this and I already love it. The tone, the writing, the humor. You guys should check out the Sandman Slim series from Richard Kadrey. You might like it if you love this, too. :)
