I'm getting pretty numb to this stuff by now...there's always this kind of talk of "We're in the last days," "World's about to end," etc. And except for what they're trying to do with "The Lost Book of Nostradamus," you never have people look at his prophecies FIRST and then prepare for what's supposed to happen. It's always after the fact. Something bad happens, and then they go and look and supposedly find it in his vague predictions. Like Penn (of Penn & Teller) said..."If the man predicted 9/11, then why weren't we ready on 9/10?" It really doesn't count as a prediction if you can only find it's relevance after the fact.
However, that special was freaky, because it mentioned that cosmic alignment which is due to hit around 2012...which is the same year/reason that the Mayan calendar ends, and that calendar is supposed to be the most accurate calendar in history...so the fact that the two are conferring on that point is a tad disturbing. But as Charles Shultz said, "I wouldn't worry about the world ending today...because it's already tomorrow in Australia."
