OK...i'm kind of getting tired of all these previews (I refuse to call them trailers...trailers come at the END)
The thing is...previews are getting worse...writers spend all this time trying to come up with interesting plots twists only to have a preview spoil it for everyone within minutes.
It used to be that previews would only give you a very brief, basic outline of the movie...nowadays they reveal all the major plot twists. If Empire Strikes back had come out this year they would have shown the scene where Vader tells Luke he's his father....that is how previews are treating movies nowdays. They take out the mystery and the surprises. They spoil movies.
Take the new Will Ferril movie. We already know HOW he figures out who the voice is in his head...that seems pretty signifanct to the story to me...and yet they just ruined it all by showing it in a preview to sell the movie. Now, the impact of that surprise is gone. The mystery has been hollowed out.
