The Fear Of The Wrestling Thread Is Far Greater Than The Wrestling Thread Itself

That was actually a pretty entertaining opener for Lockdown. Felt like the TNA of old for a second there

Decent opener. I expected more from it. Crowd kinda hurt more than anything. I'd probably give it about **1/2.

Watching Starrcade 87. Weak show so far. Has there ever been a good scaffold match?

Yeah the crowd was a bit cold but it was a fun spotfest... but oh crap Ditsy Carter just appeared on the screen

That is an aspect of Cesaro's push that I am curious about. It's hard to see him going face and keeping Zeb as his manager, but at the same time Cesaro is not a natural on the mic. I have no doubt the Heyman vs Zeb promos would be entertaining. :D
To me, the only way I can see Cesaro going face would be for Swagger and Zeb to turn on him. Have them focus on the fact that he's "one to them foreigners!" I'd like to see some sort of match at Wrestlemania where it's either Cesaro vs. Big E. with Swagger costing him the match or Big E. vs. Cesar vs. Swagger with Cesaro going over.

How to drain the crowd who weren't even that into the opener? Send Dxie out to do a promo.

Bad promo by Dixie. She's trying to come off like Vince McMahon/Stephanie McMahon and comes off more like Vickie Guerrero and that's not a good thing.

So it's time for the Dexter Morgan wannabe to face Mr.Anderson I take it

Just by that promo package, I could tell that that is Worst Feud of The Year material.

A wrestling company doing a stalker/rapist storyline in 2014. Yup.

I'm hoping this is just an extended Squash than an actual match.

The bell rang with Shaw standing on the ropes......and then he proceeds to step down into the ring instead of turning around to climb out??

That was terrible...Shaw is horrible, Anderson had some miscommunication, and of course, typical TNA booking.

Oh great...The "Bathturd" is back :funny:

I don't think I've ever been that excited to see Bobby Lashley haha.

It's been over an hour and we're finally getting something resembling a wrestling match....

This match reminded me of Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon's wars in WCW for the cruiserweight title. These talent exchanges might be the best thing for TNA going forward

Bobby Lashley, seriously? Weren't his 15 minutes up like, 15 years ago?

Something about this match between Storm and Gunner just isnt clicking for me...
