It gets ridiculous to the point where fanboys of certain characters think their guy can beat guys like Superman and Flash because some writer like Timm or Miller dumbed them down.

Which begs the question--if Batman can take down Superman (and the rest of the Justice League), why can't he stop the Joker? Why does he need the rest of them to take on Darkseid.

See how stupid crap like that is?

In his right mind or not, Flash would destroy Green Arrow. Holding back or going all-out, Superman would obliterate Batman. Period.

Batman can stop the Joker, which he has done plenty of times, he just won't kill him.

I would agree, which is why I always think its a mistake to make characters like Batman unstoppable. Ditto with Oliver. Their appeal is that they can have their backs broken and can be shanked by Ras al Ghul. They're human and I do feel writers do take something away from them for the sake of making the fight physically equal.

Really enjoyed the episode, really rammed home to me how much I need to catch up with Arrow, but yeah it was all handled well, Diggle's reaction to Barry at first was superb, Cisco seems to get funnier and Wells gets more creepy.

Thought the fight was well handled also, especially for a TV show and it showed how experienced Oliver is compared to Barry. Only saw the flash episode so really need to catch up with Arrow as I said earlier. Also, Firestorm at the end was awesome!

I keep saying it, but I really, REALLY need to catch up with Arrow, only got up to episode 9 of season 2, which funnily enough was the Barry Allen episode. So I have a lot catch up on. I think .the Flash has been superb though.

Oh man keep watching, second half of season two is where Arrow really amped up.

Those Barry Allen episodes were fantastic.

The Flash is my favourite series on TV at the moment.

I know, I was even more psyched for Deathstroke than Flash! But yeah Flas has been great, I think I will have to buy season 2 of Arrow to catch up. What I did watch of season 2 was great.
