In Smallbots' defense, the Bayformer movies suck complete ass in their own right regardless of how well they adapt the source material.

Oh God no. Although, I had the benefit of growing up with Beast Wars and reruns of G1, so that may have informed my not giving a **** about new adaptations. I just find the Bayformers painful to watch as films.
