Love that. I hope people pay attention, I see a lot of people not knowing when to use "then" and "than" around here. As well as "there," "their," and "they're."

The repressed English Teacher in me always cringes a bit, no wonder I went into publish rather than the classroom.

Seems more like consistent carelessness.
I have some girl on facebook who constantly types in all caps and says your when she means you're. Comes off as a complete ****** yet she is actually quite smart, she just comes from a background where these things aren't considered relevant.
If I point it out she'll dismiss me as some sort of high society snob.

She doesn't seem to realize that it is a much a representation of herself as what clothes she puts on.

If I'm walking around in loose jogging pants and a stained tank top, people will think of me in a certain way. As soon as I see her updates in all caps and riddled with easily avoidable spelling mistakes I can't help but think she must actually be ******ed.
