I should stay over at other people's houses more often. I can never bring myself to eat their food, no matter how good it looks. But when I get home, I pig out on the first thing I see on the kitchen table.

I did that the last time I stayed with my aunt and uncle. Then my uncle pulled me aside and told me that refusing to eat my aunt's cooking was offending her. Ever since then, I've made sure to eat the food I'm offered whenever I'm a guest at someone's home.



...unless the food really is terrible. Then things get awkward like the last verse in "Rappers Delight."

Yeah, I have that same problem, though in my case it's more because I'm a really picky eater and its hard for me to even just try to eat something at someone else's house, or even if someone else cooks at my house.

you know...People don't laugh at stuff like falcon punches because they genuinely find the acts they are insinuating to be hilarious...they are laughing because of how terrible it is that someone would joke about it and, given the context of the joke, it's funny. It's call shock humor and there's a large demographic of people who find it funny.

I'm not saying these things need to be acceptable here per the rules given on the first page...I know this site considers itself PG-13 and all and I can respect wanting to keep that atmosphere. I'm just saying: Some people really need to lighten up.

Falcon Punch isn't shock humour. It's a reference to a video game. Depending on the context it is used, it can count as shock humour, like the Legend Of Zelda abortion comic which started the whole controversy.

But that's no different from me drawing a picture of Batman raping the Joker while saying "I'm Batman". The quote itself has nothing to do with it. There is nothing inherently shocking about the reference.

Yes this whole Captain Falcon thing is ridiculous. I sent a message to C. Lee but he hasn't replied yet. The Capt. Falcon comic I want to post relates to the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

And really, something shouldn't be banned just cause it can be made in an inappropriate fashion.

Might as well ban Link because his sword can be used as a sex toy and Mario encourages animal cruelty.
