Started watching this series, just the first three episodes, but I'm really enjoying it. Sort of a mix of Buffy and Grimm, with some neat makeup work.

Really like the main trio. Much better than Buffy's, without Whedons' self insert "nice guy". Really like Stefanie Scott's performance as Carrie. So far, from what I've seen, she very much acts as though the character's prothesis is a prosthesis, not a magical limb. Sure, it is a bit of a one during combat, but in the quiet scenes, she is just using the one hand/arm, which is subtle, but neat. And I do look forward to seeing how Nolan's nonbinary journey goes.

A bit of a content warning, the cult is very much a cult, with various abuse within, so if that is an issue, be careful.

So far, I think the pacing suffers a bit from half hour episodes, but I do look forward to binging it next week.

Congrats Peacock, you won a sub.
