As always, the reviews of this movie tricked me into seeing what turned out to be the longest, most drawn out movie in cinema history. Just when you thought it was going to end (or should i say HOPED it would, so you could use the bathroom) ..it dragged on...and on...and on.....it made Pearl Harbor seem like the length of a tv commercial.

...this movie gets my award for the most OVERHYPED, OVER REVIEWED film of the decade!:cmad:

Maybe you just didn't understand it?

well for one, as far as long movies go Pearl Harbor isn't 'that' long

and two, Good Shepard was fantastic

I'm going to need more detail,Hitman.

There's just too many details to list. Don't get me wrong, the acting was top notch, and i did indeed understand it but i think the problem with the movie, is just that it's TOO realistic; In the sense that actual CIA operatives lives are not very entertaining; complelling but not suited to keep the attention of the movie goer. At the end of the movie, i could hear a large majority of the audience breathing sighs of relief that it was finally over. It's more like a documentary than a movie..if that's your cup of tea, then it's the movie for you..but to each his own...i, however, had more fun watching my newly painted ceiling drying... :o

That seems to be the problem many critics are saying about this film, There isnt any doubt that the acting wasnt excellent its just a long and very drawn out film, But im waiting until i have seen it before i have made my judgement. Btw, how long was Pesci's role in the film? I know its short but i was hoping for atleast a 10 minute bit with the return of Pesci.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but now I'm losing my interest to it.

Or maybe he did and he just wasn't interested by it? That happens, you know. Might wanna think about that before you try and act flippant.

The trailer for this movie really did nothing for me, so I wasn't planning on seeing it before the DVD release, anyway. I'd rather just re-watch CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND. Now there's a great CIA "insider" movie.

pesci's role may have been about closer to five minutes, as for the movie, it's great if you have the patience for it and at the very least want to see some great acting.

The torture/water boarding scene was actually the scene i was waiting to see, as all the critics made such a big deal over it. All in all i've seen worse. Casino Royales torture scene was WAY more intense than this one....

.....Pesci was in the movie about 4-6 minutes tops. Not even worth it...

I had a friend that said it was good. Im going to see it tommorrow night.

I don't usually agree with Goglo so I'm anxiously waiting to see this...

I'm just a little "Matt Damoned Out" this year...

Save a little for next year, PLEASE! I'll be skipping this one, even though I like everyone involved.
