The Greatest American Hero Movie???

Of all the TV to big screen movies that have come out, I would have to think that this one is a home run. Hell, I bought Season 1 on DVD and the first episode still holds its own, with better FX it would incredible.

Owen Wilson would be perfect as the "reluctant hero", Marty the school teacher. Not sure about the Robert Culp character.

Update the dialogue and situations and it'd be a blockbuster, can't anybody in Hollywood see that. Superheroes are hot, strike now.

Jesus, we've got "Welcome back Kotter" with frinkin' Ice Cube as Mr. Kotter.
I think the Super suit deserves some time on the big screen!!!!!

Anybody hear any rumbles about this being a possibility????

There was some talk about a movie a couple of years ago, but it seemed to have died down. They've had a couple of recent DVD releases. maybe that'll fire it back. There are already a number of superhero spoof films. Why not one more. God knows Hollywood loves to retread old TV shows.
