Thanks LL, unfortunately the best part of the movie was the Captain America trailer which preceded it.

Honestly GL wasn't nearly as bad as the critics made it out to be, the comparisons to Batman and Robin are completely unfair.

The acting was mediocre at best and it really felt like there was a whole hour missing from the movie, most of which would of been better spent in Oa and it ended up feeling empty and incomplete.

Visually it was a treat, I hadn't watch the trailers or spots so everything was new and fun for me, I saw it in standard digital and the colours were very nice.

It's a shame really because I got a taste for how good a movie this could of been.

Oh well, make mine Marvel.

I'm going to ignore the last part because I'm tired of people thinking I'm gay. That is honestly what we call it around here, a man-date. It's when guys get together and do guy stuff. Usually it involves vulgarity and being as simple as you can without people thinking you may be mentally challenged. If you don't like the name, that's fine. I'm still gonna use it. Get used to it and get over it.

Nah, but I haven't seen Green Lantern yet. For all I know, it could be absolutely hilarious.

For me there really was no gut wrenchingly bad dialogue I could remember or even over the top ridiculous scenes. There wasn't even anything as vomit inducing as when Nick Fury told IM "I'll be keeping my eye on you."

Blake Lively is a bland actress and couldn't hope to be half as loveable as Gweneth Paltrow, Nathalia Portman, or even Liv Tyler.

Ryan Reynolds was alright but some scenes demanded a bit of gravitas and he isn't good enough an actor to pull it off convincingly, his dork friend with the glasses was crap and everyone else hardly matters.

Tomar-Re briefly speaks and does nothing else, Killawog trains Hal for maybe 3 minutes and then Sinestro for 2-3 more and we might have a total of 20 Oa/space minutes in the film.

WB bit off more than it could chew and wasn't prepare to fund this movie enough to make it an epic, this movie should really of been a Green Lantern Corps movie in order to work and not a Hal Jordan movie.

I thought Green Lantern was good,even though some things were different from the comics.It even gave a hint on who the villian will be in the sequel.

(There is a script already done for the sequel.)
