That's not realistic at all.SeriousDuke said:Exactly. That's the point. Well, in movies you can do anything. Bond's bullet goes so fast that it pushes the enemies back into it's barrel, blowing up the gun... big explosion occurs that cues to the credits.

Ugh, that would be stupid. That scene was perfect.SeriousDuke said:My favorite part in Casino Royale was the introduction to the gun barrel... giving us a reason for why we see it in each and every Bond film. I loved how they did it... however, it got me thinking... they could have done it so much cooler! Here's how.
Okay, the scene goes as it does in the film, with the bathroom. They should have had the guy lift up his gun, point it at Bond, and then we get an inside view of the gun. We see the bullet inside the barrel, ready to fire, the gun fires, we see the bullet lift out of the gun with a flash of fire and sparks, now we have a first person view locked onto the bullet, exiting the gun barrell(yes, we actually leave the gunbarrel). We see Bond notice this, he turns around aiming his gun. He fires. His bullet collides with the other bullet and both bullets are pushed into the gun(we re-enter the gunbarrel) as the gun sparks and blows up since it is jammed. The blood drips down as this happens... enter title sequence.
It sounds complicated, but I think this would have made the scene so much more badass... they should use it for the next bond film.

SeriousDuke said:lol... I know it's not realistic... I just couldn't find the right word. Casino Royale was very intricate, and I just wanted a more intricate type scene. That's all... now that I think of CR in a whole, it would have seemed way to intricate and ultimately unrealistic for that scene... maybe it would have worked amazing in DAD.

SeriousDuke said:Well, first of all, that gunbarrel scene is unrealistic in the Bond films to begin with. To have the bullet go into the barrel, come out the other end, and blow the shooters brains out.
With MY gunbarrel, this gives the shooter a chance... and Bond shoots back, the bullet still goes into the gunbarrel, and the blood comes down. But, this time the gun should explode, as it really would.
I'm just saying, we should give the shooter a chance, but then have Bond win in the end.

Best response ever.mcflytrap said:What kind of crack are you smoking? You want more realistic, so you want a bullet to collide in midair with another bullet (already the odds are in the trillions)...then the bullet push back the other bullet because apparently, Bond is pulling the trigger *harder* and therefore his bullet is faster (big WTF here)..and then go into the gunbarrel (odds are off the charts) and explode the gun.
Yeah. Realistic is the word I'd use.
