The Hangover Part III

It does look better, but no... I'm still not seeing this.

The first Trailer didn't do it for me, neither does the 2nd. And I'm just getting really tired of Alan and Leslie.

This series became increasingly darker as it went along. There's a 'fun' and 'surprise' factor in the first one that was like lightning in a bottle.
I'm still gonna see this, I don't think the franchise is as bad as people say, it's pretty funny and it stays away from the regular comedies, is something different.

I thought this trailer was funnier than the first one. I did laugh at Alan's "Couldn't you take Stu instead?"

My thoughts exactly.
Even Part II's trailers were funny. These have just been... meh.

My thoughts, aswell. I LOVED the first one; they probably should have left it at that. It was such a simple, sweet, yet memorable story. It works on every level, and the characters are great. The sequel was a huge dissapointment, and I don't know what to think of this. I'm going to watch this anyway, hoping that it won't leave the sour taste the second one left. If it does... well, then there's always the original to pop into the Blu-ray player.

I really don't know about this. I'm glad they're staying away from yet another wedding senario, and that rumored plot of the guys breaking Alan out of a mental asylum isn't the case. It just looks like more of the same though... and really would it have killed them to have Doug tag along this time? So basically it's a mix of the first and second movies plots. The Hangover III: More adventures in Las Vegas without Doug. I think I'm gonna pass.

The Hangover films do have a nice look visually compared to other comedy films in my opinion.

Phillips shoots them like action flicks, that's why.

Nah, it's with the second one that Philips & C. started doing stuff like an action franchise. The guy simply knows how to shoot a movie. That's all.

Yep, The Hangover movies look really slick, they got good budgets too, Philips' Due Date looked good too.

I will admit the first trailer for this wasn't really funny. But this trailer had me chuckling the whole time. I don't see why everyone is hating on the franchise just because part 2 wasn't good. Like I said before, fans are quick to turn on something at the drop of a dime. The plot isn't the same as the others ones and I don't see why everyone is complaining about Doug not being in the group. Simply put he isn't a comedic character in these movies. The chemistry is with Stu, Phil, Alan.

Edit after watching the trailer again. The reason Doug doesn't tag along this time is because he gets kidnapped by John Goodman's character. Which is sure to grind the gears of people who turned their backs of the franchise after part 2.

Didn't get much laughs out of this trailer.

they are only in Vegas for the climax

I liked the trailer. Certainly looks better than Part II.

That's what I'm talking about. This trailer had me laughing pretty good.

I think the big mistake they made with part II aside from recycling the plot of the original is that they went to a much darker place, which for a series like this is unnecessary.

You don't need to be dark to be better. It looks like III gets that.

And I think it's hilarious how its Doug that gets taken.

Dude just can't catch a break.

True, but still it's a bit disappointing they are reusing the Vegas location again even if its only for the climax instead of trying for something different. Comes off as more of the same I think.

I like it because its bringing the series full circle. It ends where it began.

I wonder if that blonde kid in the movie is supposed to be the baby from the first one.

It makes sense in the movie and made for a pretty awesome cameo.

I think it is. Heather Graham's there and Alan puts sunglasses on the kid like he did in the first one. I don't know who the other kid at the intervention is, though.

The kid at the intervention was one of his friends.

Ken Jeong is hysterical, to each his own.

He can be really annoying , but the part with him parachuting off the hotel looks really funny. Also "Holla , city of Squalor" was the best line in Hangover 2.

The funniest thing in the new trailer for me was the eulogy and Zack saying he wishes his mother died first :lmao:

Also when they took Doug!
