The Hangover

Im gonna say something that I hate when somebody says to me

If you think that it would have been better for them to show everything that happened that night, then they don't "get" the movie

The Hangover was ****ing Epically Histerical! Funniest movie I have seen in years.... Tops Superbad by a Mile(Superbad was the funniest movie I had seen in a long time till this move came along) and any other of the Apatow films. The Hangover is a must see... its too ****ing funny for anyone not to see it.... its the Star Trek of Comedy so far this year

i gotta see this again because i might overly blown away right now...but this might be my second favorite comedy now...40 year old virgin still at the top of course

Just saw this last night and loved it.

For some reason the trailers didn't grab me and I didn't think it was going to be all that funny. It almost seemed like one of those comedies that only has a few moments that make you laugh or chuckle but ends up getting lost in the mix of semi-forgotten comedies.

I was way off. This film had me laughing my ass off throughout the majority of it. Even though there were a few parts that kind of dragged, those few parts still had some things/lines in them that made me at least chuckle a bit.

I love that they actually show you some of the pics on the camera at the end. Not all but some, I think it was better that way to leave a little to the imagination...like how exactly did Phil get that slight concussion. :woot:

8.5-9/10

I actually thought this was way way way better than 40 Year Old Virgin, Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Knocked Up, Sarah Marshall, Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express etc.

It's = Old School and Anchorman and easily the most consistently hilarious movie I've seen in years. Reminds me that comedy may not be in a black hole after all Todd Phillips really channeled his mentor (Ivan Reitman) with this one. The ending credits were some of the most creatively hilarious things I've seen in a very long time.

Another thing that I really liked was how the Director Todd Phillips brought back Dan Finnerty as a wedding singer, which he also played in Phillips other film Old School.

That Candyshop Remix was so funny...

I dont see how a person could say that this movie isnt funny

Fantastic comedy, I give this film 5/5. In fact this is the only comedy that had me laughing at stuff from the trailers as hard as I had first seen it

(instead of being pissed off at people in the audience laughing at it after already seeing the gags a zillion times already.Ugh thats annoying)

How anyone can not find this film funny is beyond me.

I agree, this is an instant classic, simply hilarious. It's opening weekend is also a surprise, wait until word of mouth catches - this could definitely be one of the sleeper hits of the summer if it isn't already.

How can you not "get" this movie? It's not like it's a complicated thing they did here. They put us in the position of the main characters, keeping us guessing on what exactly they did that night. The reality is that this movie just isn't as funny as people are making it out to be. And I think it might take a while for people to realize. Or maybe it's just me.

Wow this was just fantastic, I have to see it again. Just so much happend.

I think it's just you. And it happens, people have varying tastes, especially when it comes to comedy. I loved the way they handled the movie and it kept me laughing the whole time, and part of the enjoyment I got out of it was not knowing what they did the night before.

Going to go see this movie in an hour. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I'm pumped!

Glad to hear this was great, and it had an excellent opening($43 mill). I'm definitely seeing this after finals tomorrow.

the second i heard "thirteen" from danzig being played....i knew this film was for me. a perfect cast and a perfect comedy. imo, best movie of the summer so far and easily in my top five comedies of this decade. i like bradley cooper but i'm sure after this success he will be the next seth rogan and be over-exposed. i hate when that happens.

The budget (while not confirmed) is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 to $35 million.

Or maybe it's just me.

It's just you.

One of the best things was NOT showing everything. Comedy can work just like horror in that "what happens in your mind is probably better then what could possibly be put onscreen".

Yep. I've been reading some reviews, and most of the negative ones have the same problem I have. I guess it's just taste. I'm seeing it again as soon as I can.

Yes that was a cool thing he added lol. I didn't think the movie was going to be enjoyable, but watching it, I was proved wrong.

Dan Finnerty is always hilarious. That was one of the few moments I lol'd at.

You really didnt laugh much during this movie?

Why see it again then? and what DID you find funny?

I want to see it again because maybe I was in a bad mood or something? I doubt that because I was really excited for the movie to start. Sometimes I like movies better the second time. We'll see.

Some things I laughed at were the tiger, baby, Asian man, Galifianakis playing poker, Mike Epps, Dan Finnerty, and the photos at the end.
