I have my ten year high school reunion coming up next summer, I'm still deciding if i want to go I can't believe it's been 10 years already. It got me thinking about high school. what was high school like for you guys. Were you popular/unpopular. Did or will you go to your reunion. What was your time in HS like?

I would definitely go to mine, which is coming up in a few years :old:

in highschool i was surprisingly pretty popular. I had friends in all social circles. i played sports, i had upperclassmen classes so I was friends with all grades

I dreaded my high school years, even though I kinda wish I could go back now as the person that I am today because maybe I would've have made the same mistakes, and instead enjoy my time there. I spent the first two years pretty much alone since I had a falling out early on with my friends from middle school and was very shy at the time so I didn't know how to make friends. Then my junior and senior years were full of drama and endless pining over girls that always ended with disappointment. Prom was also a complete waste. I did pretty good grade-wise, but I know I could've done even better had I focused more on what mattered.

I graduated in 2007 and I haven't really kept in contact with that many people since except through facebook. But I definitely wouldn't mind going to a reunion. Like I said, I'm a different person than I was then so all the silly teenage things don't bother me like they used to.

i have lost contact with a lot of my friends from school. we're "friends" on facebook but honestly not many of us speak like we should

I had a good time in high school. I wasn't in the popular crowd, but had plenty of fun with my friends. I don't look back on my high school years with regret or anything, but never had any interest in going to my high school reunion. I am going with my girlfriend to her reunion though this fall, but we went to different schools and she's 4 years younger than me so I'm not going to know anyone.

I didn't care much for high school. I did have friends from all the different social circles and my school even had a pretty sweet farm with cool animals though. I was in pretty good shape back then too.

I would go to mine if I got someone to take with him, im not paying gas money on that :o

but yeah I loved my High School years, best time of my life.

High School...well, ALL school was a long depressing era of my life, and I was quite thankful when it was over.

As I prepare to graduate from college, I look back at my high school years....and I don't miss much.

i actually do miss some things about high school i'm finding. i wish i hadn't missed so many days for one thing

I went to mine a couple years ago. It wasn't bad. I was class clown...I know, you guys are really surprised!:word: I had fun in high school. I kinda went to show off my wife as well. :oldrazz:

You should go as long as high school wasn't like dreadful or anything.

I really enjoyed high school. Well my sophomore, junior and senior years anyway. I was fairly new to the area where i went to school, so i didnt have many friends from middle school when i first got to high school, that changed by the end of my freshman year tho. I played baseball all through high school and would pal around with the athletes and the 'preppy' crowd. I was more of the sarcastic class clown throughout school(a tradition my sister carried with her 2 years after myself). If my school has a reunion, im not sure id need to go, the core group of friends i had in high school are still my same friends now, we all are at the same college, altho some of them are starting to graduate, but we all still keep in touch.

I think my biggest regret is not taking my school work seriously and not taking baseball as seriously as i should have. It wasnt until my senior year that i really realized i could potentially play baseball at the next level. I think had i of worked as hard during my sophomore and junior yrs as i did my senior yr, i probably would of gotten asked to play D1 ball.

Overall i had a lot of fun during highschool. I liked the routine of everything.

High school sucked. It felt like a huge waste of time considering most of it was worthless information and the rest was stuff we had been learning all through grade school. Most of my closest friends were ones I met in another high school, who were all in college by the time I finished my run. The kids in my school were either ***holes or ghetto, with only a handful of great people.
95% of the teachers and staff were stupid and took their job way too seriously, especially our hall monitors who thought they were like Danny Glover or something. I always suggested have T-800's walking around, but no one listens. :o

Older people tell you high school is the best time of your life, and if that is true, life sucks horribly. I honestly don't believe it. Maybe back then it was, but today and in the school I was in, no. It was a waste of life. -_- I had some good laughs and some good times, and did learn some useful info, but that hardly helped.

High school=suck.

Nuf said and God bless.

Haha, my school had hall monitors like that as well, but most of us were pretty cool with em so we could always get away with stuff. I dont know how many classes i missed just roaming the halls. The monitors would give me the look but would never really stop me.

They were worse to Freshmen and Sophomores, sometimes Juniors. They didn't like me because I was a smart ass, so they usually left me alone.

" I wasn't a mathlete, or a hardcore gamer, or a jock. Like most people my age, I simply existed.”

These words from Dave Lizewski rings true to me also.:o

I moved around a lot as a kid, ended up going to 4 different high schools so I didn't really have a high school experience. I also graduated a junior so I wasn't there very long anyway. I did get into quite a few fights always being the new kid, always feel sorry for those guys in retrospect picking on me.

High School was just like High School Musical. We all broke out into synchronized song and dance before and after every class :awesome:

Omg u r so luky. Wish zefron wuz in mai skool.

High school sucked and the people in it sucked. That said, I plan on going to my reunion to show off how successful I'll be.

Yes, I'm a *****.

I liked the fact that my high school was one of the top 3 high schools in the city, and it was only a 15 minute walk from my house.:woot:
