I do like Thundercats, He-Man & The Masters Of The Universe, Voltron, Transformers, M.A.S.K, Silverhawks, & especially G.I.JOE. I'll give DBZ another whirl & get back to you in a while. :cwink:

There was a period I quite enjoyed DBZ (NO LOVE IN MY HEART FOR THE ORIGINAL DRAGONBALL), as a Superman fan I appreciated the fighting of super powered beings, (And... let's be honest, in DBZ the character of Goku goes from an anime riff on JOURNEY TO THE WEST, an early 80's Monkey King, to an anime Superman clone) if feeling the characters and plots were a little thin. After Cell though I just had my fill, even though I hung in until the end of Buu. Frankly, the series has always had either too much intentional sillines that falls flat for me ("Look... Goku is eating a lot! Isn't that hilarious?" No.) or too much that is unintentially funny for me to ever embrace it fully. Add in the "censoring" ect. and the fact that I truly cannot stand anime dubs, and that franchise, as much as I like the martial arts action, will always be interesting but not a favorite.

Only seeing the dub film and a spin off series on the Anime Network, I am betting Fist Of The North Star (Hakuto No Ken?) is more my speed, though if you check ot the Wiki pages on it... man is THAT convoluted.

Got 5 customers closed for 14 products so far. Calls are coming slow though. Should be able to hit at least 25 products if not more today though

I don't want to go into work. I just know it's going to be a crap day like every day so far this week. :( I feel so abused already.

I know how you feel, Squeek :( thank Zod I have the next two days off AND am getting my car on Friday.

:mrk:

You're buying a Kia?

Should've gone for a German motor as your first car.

I think my love of DBZ is why I like the Supes vs Zod fight in MoS.

It's not as extreme
Dragon Ball fights change terrain greatly, completely destroy mountains, make HUUUUGE holes in ground, and sometimes destroy planets.
Superman vs Zod damaged some buildings, destroyed a couple or more, and no one is FAR stronger than the other.

All of those may have happened, depending on who you ask.

I would love for them to take another crack at a live action DBZ movie. Model it after some of the old school kungfu movies and pay attention to detail when it comes to the characters' martial arts styles.

Another crack?
No one had a first crack at live action DBZ.

Despite my job telling us that they would be giving us a weeks notice on our shifts and no more of this 'maybe you work every day this week, maybe we'll tell you three hours before you need to get here', they've gone back to the old ways. ****ing idiots.
