It's been awhile since I've seen LOTR, I agree with Harry Potter, but Spider-Man? Shut up. There might be a meh shot or two but for the most part that CGI is pretty damn good.
Well, this thread is breaking down at lightspeed.
That's why Bond movies are so well recieved.
Yep, we all know how horribly Spider-man and Spider-man 2 were received.

In regards to the Spider-Man punching Dr. Octopus...it's always been known in the comics that he pulls his punches if he's not fighting someone with superstrength.
They may not have mentioned it in the movie but it's a fricken Spider-Man movie. Most people don't care...because their watching a comic film.
Seriously, that goes above and beyond nit picking. A few of your points I agree with even though they didn't bother me while watching the film but some of the other things you're picking at are just godawful.
Oh, I see now....Godman...ugh....
I like Mcfarlane Spiderverse and not Stan lee's. I got past that when I was like 14. I like the edgier Spiderman which the movie had TOO much suspended belief even according to science. So he put the whole city, MJ, Aunt May, Himself, and practically everyone in danger because he was pulling punches? he could have punched Ock once on the train and eliminated him from further distruction. How about when he threw the gargoyle or whatever from the buliding and knocked Ock with it??? DFin't do much to him...He's HUMAN. There was a lot of plot flaws of this capacity. I tried to suspedn belief but it's these things that make comic book films remain as COMIC BOOK films and not just good films. have to add the word comic, or it's a horrible movie. That is what I hope to change in hollywood. I want to make movie adaptations to where the only excuse for loop holes will be because my story could have had certain elements turn out better rather than "well it is a comic book movie". Thank God Nolan passed that mark. The Crow translated VERY well and so did Ang's Hulk until the final battle which took it right back to "comic book movie" status.
That's why it seems like I troll, but I have a problem with adaptations being treated with "oh we can do that cause it's ONLY a comic book movie". They are fun but I want them to take them mediums as seriously as LOTR took it's adaptations and one academy awards for it.
Will we ever have that happen? I don't know.
If these people do hate you, they have good reason to, you purposely troll these forums.
Um....if the character is based on a comic book character, it should stay true to that comic book character. Why else are a good number of people going to see it? And too much suspended belief in Spider-Man. Just a question, but how many people in just capes do you see floating around Gothan City? yeah, real believable there.
Spidey CG is very laughable cause he has cartoon movements. We actually do have flexible martial artists and free runners in the world so that could have been avoided. I wanted to feel the idea of a MAN being able to flip and do most all those stunts and is why the Bond Chase scene in Royale tops ALL the CG scenes in ALL the spider man movies cause they actually got REAL people to do those feets. That's why Bond movies are so well recieved.
Dont bother making any point with him Joefixit2, he's getting popular on peoples ignore lists...
Spiderman wasnt just jumping 10 feet to the next building from a roof. The cgi movements were used in situations where no human could possibly perform. I have seen free runners, Yeah there good but not that good. The bond chase scene was also good but it didnt exactly put spiderman to shame since the acrobatics dont match with the cgi scenes in spiderman. Its why we need cgi to portray superman flying at 90mph as opposed to the environment moving around him. Same spiderman needs cgi when hes swinging on webs or facing off against mechanical tentacles while sticking to the side of a building.
Casino royale was well recieved because it took out those needless gadgets and brought Bond back to a believable realm. Spiderman and other comic book heroes like him are not in that realm.
Someone like Daredevil would do good with them filming a free runner but Spiderman is would not.
