Why does it make sense to gain muscle mass and not body fat?

Because muscle mass is cooler :whatever:!
There's no real answer to that, but from what I understand gamma blast make you superhumanly strong... Somehow, and it seems to tap into your strength building properties, muscle growth is linked in large part to make hormones, hence why he is so uber testosterone.

er sorry bub, there were laods of scenes with spidey shot with just the actor. what scenes will these be in hulk? hes all cgi you muppet. you didnt see a bad golem did you. or substandard shots of kong. yet this hulk in my opinion is worse than the 2003 one, and abom, looks soooooooo bad. you do not release substandard cgi shots when your characters are cgi based

Er sorry bub, Spider-mans only shot as an actor are standing around and SOMETIMES stuck to walls. Which even those were sometimes CG (Bank scene anyone?)

And... muppet? Theres a unique insult.

lol, that pic always cracks me up. It's like a Hulk parody where he's a mopey, heart-broken little baby girl-Hulk.

Anyway, I've been reading through this thread and I'm seeing the same mistake made.
The CGI was way better in Ang-Hulk.
the DESIGN is better in the new Hulk.
2 different things.
The new Hulk looking more fierce/savage/beastly/wicked-cool/dangerous, etc....doesn't change the fact that the CGI sucks.

However, the CGI was inconsistent in Ang-Hulk.
It was freaking photoreal in one scene, then Playstation 2 cutscene quality in the next.

sans a few shots, i thought Ang's Hulk looked photo real all the time. especially the scene of him being brought up to high altitude.

you weren't in awe of the first transformer trailers when you saw them?

not even starscream jumping, transforming in mid air and then flying off?

I think i came in my pants when i saw that.

I can't say I was, it was a great visual movie experience with great effects but it didn't "change the game" in anyway. I've seen humans inter act with dinosaurs on screen in my life time, why wouldn't I expect them to be able to bring transformers to life .

muppet becasue you wont even get live hulk shots will you. its all cgi. spederman was only cgi throughout parts of the action sequences

Actually not all of it is CGI, for example the hand that breaks through the concrete in the trailer was animatronic.

I guess I am one of the few who think the CGI in TIH is really damn good. I watch the trailer and don't see any flaws with him, or Abomination.

Some people just need to relax.

Last time I got live Hulk shots, I got Ferrigno. If you want Ferrigno be my guest, I'll take CG from 03 or TIH anyday.

To be honest mate you could stick Ferrigno in there and people would still scream fake lol.

The CGI is not bad at all.

The only thing that caught my attention is when Hulk and Adomy are running at each at...you can see New York's temp skyline. It looks there's a few buildings and a giant video blue-ish billboard...and they look weird..They look distorted and they don't blend in too well.

im saying that spidey had lots of live shots and the hulk is all cgi . if your going to have cgi characters then you cannot afford to have them looking so awful in the trailer

So because Spidey only has CG for most of his action shots it's forgivable? Your logic is full proof! I must say I am baffled!

I have to admit when I saw that for the first time it blew my mind, TIH won't have that good of cg but at least it'll look better then the trailer when it hit's theaters, I hope.

I mean it's pretty good in the trailer don't get me wrong but I just think they'll clean it up a bit and add some finishing touches

I completely agree with you, the CGI looks fantastic, I don't care what anybody else says.

TOUGHINGTON, continue with comments like that and you won't be a member of this board

I can't imagine why ANYONE wouldn't think this CGI isn't better??? Maybe an ILM nerd or something but from an artistic perspective and an anatomical/technical perspective it seems to be superior CGI then 03' HULK... Which I did like.

Good points, but I love PS2. :csad:

Kids these days play so many video games with CG cutscenes, everything they see doesn't faze them. That's the problem.

To me it goes this way.

ILM is better in the technical department. Giving everything a nice crisp clean look.

R&H in their films seem to give them a much more stylized approached. Unfortunately not many like this. I on the other hand love it.

My two most anticipated films are TIH and Speed Racer, both highly stylized films.

I really love the CGI in this movie so far but if there happen to be any kinks that are unknown to us, they will definitely be worked out before the release of the movie. I'm sure that the final product will be to die for.

Hey... I play more videogames than anyone on this board! And I am blown away by the effects in TIH, Speed Racer, and IM!! I can't wait to see them in motion.

The way I see it is... we're not in the 80's or 90's anymore, unless you really really really drop the ball and make the CG look like something that came out in the late 80's all highly pixelated and polygonal... you've impressed me. Every bit of these effects look real enough. People really do feel they are entitled to quite a bit.
