All parts except the exclusive close up of the Hulk in the trailer attached to Doomsday in theatres. Otherwise there are no other final vfx in the trailer online at all. That doesn't mean a few parts of it are not closer than others.

Thanks for that!

woow you must have connections to know all that?

Then why release a trailer with unfinished CGI? I don't get it. I'd rather wait for a trailer with everything at 100%.

Gee, why release a trailer at all, why shoulsd any film give a SAMPLE of the final product to advertise it's release months later.

You people are pretty damn wacked out in your expectations. You expect this much from a trailer, it damn funny to think of the other things in your life you give a free pass to. Besides, we all know some of you we're going to bash the Hulk no matter what. You have to, it's CG, hense fake. You gotta point out fake. fake! fake! Not real, Nolanz is Godz!!!

Hulk doesnt grow in the comics, he's never actually gotten angry, changed his shape/height and gotten stronger. Different artists have drawn him in different heights but Marvel never actually came out and said "yeah, in this issue, he's 12ft tall". In Ang's defense, he only grows to 15. He stops after that, its like, at the end of the movie, Hulk's a full grown man. But he never made that clear and you have a$$holes going around saying s**t like "OMG! He could be the size of King Kong, lolz!". If you have a issue where he does grow, i'd love to see that. Really, not being an ass but i would like to know where Ang got that idea from.

Thank you, that was my main point of anger directed at the first film, screwing up the characters main power.

What pissed me off most about Ang lee's hulk was that Macy Gray never made an appearance. :yay:

Good to know... a lot of the CG in the trailer was embarrassing.

The first thing I'm thinking while looking at the Hulk and The Abomination isn't that it looks bad. It just could've been better. Because King Kong looks way more real and advanced and that film is 3 years old.

King Kong had a $207 million budget and the vfx were done by Weta.

This movie has neither.

It seems like hardly anyone in the general audience so the trailer because doomsday bombed horribly.

This would have done much better being attached to Horton Hears a Who, honestly.

But quite a few newspapers and websites in the UK have picked up on the trailer and are showing the shot of Hulk roaring and flexing on their front pages of the websites and saying how this movie seems so much better and how the appearance and general feel of the film is amazing!

Only positive reviews people, POSITIVE!

And that was 3 years ago.

Here's the article where Leterrier confirms the CGI in the trailer is unfinished:

Not sure if you we're around anywhere to hear it, but ton's of people ragged on King Kong as well. People said it looked cartoony, half rendered, dead eyed, ect. All the same critism's I'm hearing about... well honestly, ANY CG character in the last 12 years, not just in Incredible Hulk.

As far as Frenchie saying that the FX are not up to snuff in his eyes just yet, what is that supposed to prove again?

That you can expect less cartoony and better rendered shots of the Hulk, and A-bomb in the theater on 13th June 2008... if you watch it on that day, i.e. :oldrazz:

QFFT!

I'm sure that shot will be in the "International Trailer" whenever that is released.

Really? The close up was finished? I just got back, sorry, didn't look much different.

Chances are if everyone has problems with the look, they'll have problems when it releases.

There’s a different version of the teaser that will only be shown in movie theatres where you see a close-up of the Hulk’s face as he comes out of the darkness and cries to [Betty]. A full close-up, like full-screen.

i want to see this shot !!!! :bh:

Well... I was expecting him to actually say Betty instead we just see him growl a bit.

I have no quarrels with the designs.

I have no quarrels with the designs.

Neither do I, I am just saying quality of CGI didn't seem upped if anyone was expecting a drastic increase in quality.

I love the new models, and I see abo****ely 0 problems with them.

Not sure if you're on crack or not, but "tons" of people is bullsh-t. The few who didn't like the CGI needs glasses, since it's state of the art.

state of art? do you know even what this means?
if it would be state of art everyone would have to like it. or at least 95%.

it can nto be state of art if there are not threads like''groudbreaking CGI,this is awsome,....''

the trailer has a good feedback. no doubt about that. but it is not groudbreaking.

the CGI will OBVIOUSLY be good enough for the general public. noone said that they wont like it. they eat everything up. but that doesnt mean that you dont have to try to do the best.
in 2003 a CGI human with hair was something groudbreaking.
