I too love the '03 Hulk, but i'm loving the '08 Hulk as well! The new Hulk has the blend of the Lou Ferringno/comic book Hulk, and i'm feeling that! The '03 Hulk was good too, and there were times when he looked so damn real! But just like with all CGI, every scene isn't going to be as great as the last one. To get as many "money shots" as we did with the CGI in the last movie, this one should undoubtably have lots of CGI scenes to offer as well.

Ang Lee's was a better attempt at realism but the new one nails the comic book movie which is my problem...I don't want a COMIC BOOK movie. I want a batman begins feel, the first hulk almost nailed fully, a movie based on a comic book. The main title MOVIE

See that's the thing I don't want is Comic book adaptations that aren't really based on the comic book but on a prior successful franchise. Superman Returns style...couldn't stand it. The only thing Chris Nolan kept from previous batman movie was the body armor idea from Burton's original. I loved Ang Lee's Hulk because it was based on Hulk the comic book and actually more indulging than the original story. CG could have been a tad bit better and the length of Bruce Banner's screen time shortened immensely and Hulk's widened. They Should have done it like king Kong. We got a good amount of human involvement but got a whopping last half of King Kong tearing the house down. I am not impressed at all with the new Hulk. The Superhero savior of the day idea for Hulk is whack. I have never liked it. Hulk is a confused and extremely angry human being who becomes anger in the flesh. I like the uncontrollable torture the man banner goes through and Lee nailed that perfectly with an excellent back ground explanation to why the toad couldn't handle it but he did. he is unique and that is what I liked.

Ang Lee's was "BASED" on a the comic and not the TV series or the cartoon. I personally liked his version of the story than the original Hulk story anyway. It put some realism to a MOVIE compared to what you can get away with in a comic book. Anyway I know for sure the Norton thing will not be as good, film wise but will it get the "COOL" factor going YES, but that's not what i go to movies for. Matrix Reloaded had Plenty of cool factors, but just wasn't The Matrix...Same thing will happen here

I actually loved Reloaded.

So did I but not because it was a good Matrix movie, for the more elevated ones who the Matrix story actually means something to, Reloaded was another popcorn flick which was good for that but not for the deep thinkers who cared about it, but anyway Ang lee's hulk was the best they're gonna do with making that character believable

again. which comic was this based on ???????????

I didn't mind him being Godzilla sized. I would've actually liked for him to have been a little bigger, just for fun's sake.

I'm saying for Ang Lee's Hulk it would've been cool if he was a little bigger, this Hulk is perfect at nine feet tall.

I am not paying to see this, I will definately will wait 'till the full trailer to make my final judgement.
Marky Mark?

Yeah, I relooked at most of the movie today and he looked more sad throughout the movie than angry.

Indeed. From an F/X perspective, comparing 2 minutes of unfinished CGI with a complete movie isn't remotely fair. I liked the Ang movie when it came out, but ironically I prefer the new 2 minute trailer to the entire Ang movie.

I'm just glad nothing this bad will appear in TIH...

Totally Agree. Worst scene in the entire movie IMO.

That two minute trailer was a joke and looks like they are just doing that for FAN boys. My mom LOVED 2003 one cause it was mature

The only major purpose the Hulk has is to be pissed off. This contradicts that trait in the most awkward way possible.

That's when the anger was coming down...you have watched the movie right?

but yea i do also see your point, one of the flaws as every movie has

That scene, out of the whole movie, was the worst? Wasn't that the army-base rampage immediately preceding the desert/San Franciso sequence (which many refer to as the best scenes in the movie)? I've honestly never heard that one before. Normally, any vitriol is directed at a few other sequences in the film (notably, his first Hulk out, the final fight sequence, etc.), so it's interesting that you've deemed this one the worst. What's the reasoning behind that - for curiosity's sake, if you don't mind - what makes that worse than any of the "classically" derided aspects of Hulk?

Personally, I liked the Ang Lee film and still do but I have to admit that I'm diggin' the new trailer...A LOT. There is no way that I can honestly say which one I will like better b/c the new film hasn't been released yet to make an honest judgement. I could end up liking it more or less than Ang's film but at least I will keep an open mind when I go see it.

Although TIH may not have the psychological drama that Hulk 03 had, it could still end up being just as mature and even darker. We'll just have to wait and see.
