The Hulk is kind of like the Highlander, there can only be one. :oldrazz: And that would be the savage Hulk that I grew up with.

Incorrect. Keep trying.

I am happy about that. Yay me.

That's fine.

Man! I have to try one of these "Scooter posts" for myself!

-clears throat- Wait for it... let me get into character first... -clears face of emotion- -arches eye brows slightly-

Your wrong.

/end scene

That felt amaza-zing.

No I'll never understand the Ang gang that thinks just because TIH is not going to be like Hulk it's going to suck. It may very well suck on levels known to man. It may (most likely) blow away Ang so bad it will crawl back under the moss covered rock it crawled out from under. But we don't know this yet, do we? :oldrazz:
No, we don't know this yet. But from what we do know (the director, the script, the trailer, etc.) can be gleaned an impression of how the film will play out, both on its own merits and in comparison to its predecessor. So far, it's no looking too good.

But they may yet pull the old bait-'n-switch on us, as many felt they did with Hulk. Unlikely, but possible.

It was good for me too.

None of those were an indication of how Hulk played out. I was lead to believe it'd be good. :cwink::oldrazz:

I don't see why people who liked the first film instantly think this one will suck because it isn't a direct sequal with the same director, cast etc. I loved the first movie myself but am eagerly antisipating this one, it's still hulk, just a different take on him. It's like Batman Begins and the first 2 Batman films, those 2 were great films imo, when BB rolled round it was a new director, new cast, new everything and still turned out great, it could be the same with TIH.

I think the fans of the first film just want more of the same and know they are not gonna get it here, which is a good thing imo.

Don't get me wrong, I think there were things to admire in Ang Lee's film, but sadly he got a sh#tload of things wrong too, so for me those who love that film so unconditionally as to ignore it's many flaws, are just being a little pretentious, especially when they lean down from their high horse to sneer at this apparent 'dumbing down' of the series.

I say 'apparent', as Ang Lee's Hulk was not as clever as some would try and make out.

No one is assuming anything, LL said himself it is unfinished. The hulk won't look drastically different design wise no, however skin texture and blending into the background moreso are things that can be drastically changed in 3 months. Look at the tank scene in the Iron Man superbowl trailer, looked very fake, videogame like and completely unrealistic. Only one month or so after the release of that trailer we got the full trailer featuring that scene, however looking completely different, very realistic, great. TIH had about 3 months or more depending on when the shots were given to the editing team to improve on the cgi, plenty of time to make big green look better.

As for why release it with unfinished shots, LL was under pressure to show something, many argue he was already really late in the game, so I don't blame him releasing unfinished shots at this point.

fair enough. but i did not think the tank scene looked bad or different, it looked just as much of a videogame in the movie. again, they will improve it, but the overall CGI wil still more less be the same. yeah they are gonna polish it further to perfect it, but don't hold your (not you specifically, everyone in general) breath on it being that much of an radical improvement from the teaser (i love teh analogy of eating cake versus the eating the flour and raw eggs. trust me, it's more the icing, the cake still tastes the same). i heard the same thing about the sipderman and the daredevil flicks. they looked more/less the same as first teaser of each, even after the "unfinished" CG was "finished".

Again, it is a bad call to show the hulk unfinished if that is the case. if i were him, and was required a trailer ASAP in a hurry, i would provide the best shot of the hulk possible, not a put-together last minute thing. i would have not spent a dime on abom, but get an amazing hulk out into the open for a tease. the cg in the ironman dogfight scene in the very first teaser was amazing.

Unrealistic, as in something that doesn't look like it could happen right infront of you, it looked 300ish. The lighting, the look of the character animation, the texture of the buildings didn't look like things that could exist in the real world. I had no problem with the scene first time around, I thought it looked artistic.
hahahha 300.

in nooooo way. and IMO they didnt changed the texture on the buildings. i think they only changed the direction of light and sky was not so cloudy.

See this is the part I'll never understand, different does not mean worse, nor better while we're at it, when will they see that? Lol. I'm not going to go around saying this movie will be better than Ang's yet, since, well I haven't see it, the same applies vice versa, how can people say it'll be worse when we actually know very little about it and haven't seen it. Oh well, really the only opinon on the this movie and the last I care about is my own, other peoples opinions aren't gonna change how much I like or dislike the movie.

theres both sides of it tho too. there are some people are loving this unconditionally with just a 2 min teaser trailer, defending it with all their hearts, guts and glory. without anything, people are defending this movie like their lives and manhoods depended on it.

i'm a fan of the last one, but by no means do i think it's perfect nor do i love it uncoditionally. it's not really a high horse since the movie kinda bombed at the BO. and i am looking forward to this movie also. which one will i like better, obviously i'm gonna have to wait until i see the new one (twice) before deciding. but just because i liked teh hulk03 doesn't mean i'm not gonna like this one. and people who are avid supporters should defend this after they watch the movie also, not assume that since the last one sucked, this one has to be better.

Except my opinion, which is always right :p

Recent comics, where there is a Red Hulk whom no one knows who he is, plus... new Abomination if I am not mistaken. I've heard glimpse of who the two are but I am not so sure if they are right or not...?
Samson = Red Hulk, Rick Jones = Abomination

Hey I agree with you there, if they couldn't show a completely finished hulk in the trailer they could've always realised a finished poster of him, that would start the marketing off. I agree again about abomb, having read the script there are alot of other scenes they could've used and make the same kind of impact, with just a quick glimpse of abomb. LL may have made a bad decision focusing efforts on both monsters instead of just big green but the fact is he's done it now, we got finished CGI and will just have to wait for the next trailer to see how unfinished.

Well people have said it looked 300ish to them. It's all down to perspective, alot of people saw it looking unfinished and just not right, then looking perfect in the full trailer, though you obviously didn't. Anyway that's Iron Man talk for the Iron Man forum, so I'll leave it at that, I'm here for Hulk :woot:.

The O'l bait-n-switch gag. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

The same could be said about the 2003 movie when they announced Ang as the director.
