Even with the new Hulk shots unfinished, looks so much better, because there's definition in the face and muscles, he doesn't look like a green stay puff marshmallow man

Agreed, the '03 Hulk looked a little too soft as he always had that 'I wanna cry' look on his face.

The cabin scene where the Hulk puts Betty on top of her car and the close-up of his face while he looks at her... ugh... I hate that cute expression.

Banner does not become the Hulk due to any type of serum at all just gamma radiation. It is Blonsky who is injected with serum.

And Banner transforms into the Hulk when he jumps off the helicopter because Hulk will not let him die. [BLACKOUT]Banner tells Betty before the jump that he tried jumping from a great distance before but Hulk wouldn't let him die, he would transform before he hit the ground.[/BLACKOUT]

the whole trailer on Apple is brighter.
the bad side is that since everyting is brighter it looks more fake.

and ABO has the same legs like Starscream.

I agree that they did give him too much emotion and that if he was calm he would start changing back.

You think?

In my opinion the brighter trailer makes the CGI look a little better. Espically the scene where Hulk is walking towards Abomination, you see more detail.

ok this scene looks better because you can see more details. but both of them running is IMO bad.

It won't be just the stress angle in the movie, in the script there's a scene in which bruce doesn't want to....have to much fun with betty :cwink: incase of a hulk out

Ok, how can someone who says they are a fan of the books get that so bloody wrong?

Just remember. First Draft.

For all we know that could something Norton later removed or if filmed won't make the final cut.

It's not safe to assume that every thing we don't like is going to be removed in later drafts.

I do hope so. Tying the change to his pulse rate alone (something that does not come from the books) really is utterly impractical.

This is why they have to get away from this non-speaking Hulk stuff. If the Hulk doesn't speak, then the director is forced into putting Hulk in situations that prove he's not just full of anger. If he speaks and his personality is portrayed correctly, we'll be able to see that he's only a threat to those who threaten him.

I'm sure other stuff like the Abomination and the Hulk not talking may have been changed as well.

doubt it, Norton saying he's a fan, i doubt that, i really do. If his rewrite still has the ******ed super soldier serum s**t, hell, his rewrite still has the "new" abomination character, if he was a fan, he would have stepped in and put a stop to that. He might have read a few comics but i doubt he's a fan of Hulk, he's more likely a fan of Marvel than Hulk IMO. No long time Hulk fan would accept changing Abom so much, they would go out of their way to make his appearence make sense rather than completely change it.

BTW, the shot of Hulks' face at the end of the french trailer,

I still think the change for the Abomination was for the better, at least for this universe. However, for all we know LL could be planning to make him become more like the classic Abomination in the sequel if he happens to return and there's no problem with that. Btw, I think Norton is new to the Hulk but he probably didn't want to disappoint fans by just going out there and saying "Yeah, I'm not really a big fan of the Hulk, I just got the role because it sounds cool."

Of course the original Abomination doesn't work, hell, it really shouldn't work in the comics either. Then again, that goes for many other characters. Where would the scales come from and the fish-like ears? Too much consumption of fish sticks? It's all about logic sense in the end.

No, actually the classic design is perfectly justifiable using the very same logic that justifies the equally unrealistic design of the Abomination we have now.

I'm hoping for a daytime shot in the next trailer. I watched Hulk last night and I still can't get over how good the cgi is in it, even though the hulk did look like a bit of a softy at times, the cgi was still perfect, I'm sure this movie will be just as good.
