The Incredible Hulk CGI Thread

No, I was asking was he serious about us getting a new trailer soon.

Well it's going to be with Iron Man, which is a month away from now and a month away from Hulk's release, wouldn't call that soon to get the word out. I had hoped the marketing would really get going about now, people kept saying April would be the month everything gets really rolling, now it's going to be May until we get the new trailer and any posters. I'm still under the impression they're sacrificing Hulk's marketing for Iron Man.

These are both shadowed shots of both hulks faces so I thought they'd be good to compare. Looking at them both they seem pretty much even on how good the cgi is, which is a good thing imo since the 03 hulk was one of the most lifelike cgi creatures I've seen.

I'm waiting on a daytime shot of the new Hulk to compare to this one, since this pic is damn good.

I think the idea was to show equivalent quality pics, seeing as lo-res shots of the new Hulk up close are all we have so far.
Basically, whether there was intentional bias or not, showing both designs on as level a playing field as possible is the best way to compare them (atm).

The quality isn't actually that bad, it't good enough to compare the 2, when we get a HD version with that shot we can compare even better but for now we work with what we've got.

Pick any pic you want from 2003 and I'm sure this movie will top it Sava and no one is going out of the way to make any pic look great. It is what it is. The real point is the unfinished CGI looked better in that pic. I chose that because of the similar grimace look face wise.

Yes, both were low-res shots and that was my point. The 2008 looked better in that particular shot.

So as I write this, I will leave as you not knowing any better and forgive you for you know not what you do. That is the mature thing to do. Take a page out of that book and we will all get along. Now run along and get back in your sandbox son, you're tracking up the place.t: The pics are for comparison, not to downplay the acheivement of 2003 which was ahead of its time with CGI. They just botched some stuff.

but it isnt on level playing field though, you've seen the movie, was the dog fight THAT bright?... was he THAT green in that scene. The thing is, the 03 pic is clearly altered. You know that, I know that, EB knows that, thats if he's actually seen the first movie.

you were saying for weeks or months that the reason they are waiting with the trailer is because they are finishing the effect.s you said that the effects will be finished. when it came out you were saying day for day that they are UNFINISHED.
