interesting skin texture. in no way like human skin. but i guess this is what they want.

why on earth does it HAVE to look like human skin? hulk is the monster that comes from within a human shell. i've never thought of a huge green monster as human, but i guess thats what you want.

The truth is that the budget couldn't afford ILM. Marvel would've bent over like a cheap hooker to get ILM back.

They couldn't swing it - period.

R&H is like the ugly cousin nerds take to prom.

The effects will be fine. Nothing Earth shattering to be sure.

The last effects that raised the bar were ILM's effects on Transformers. They will raise slightly on Iron Man which I believe is another ILM project.

The real truth is they wanted ILM focusing their resources on ol' metal head. Why? Because from Transformers we can tell... they do metal...really...really... good.

Pardon me, but Aslam begs to differ.

And it's consistent cause R&H did A LOT of Marvel movies (both three X-Men, Daredevil, Elektra), plus Superman Returns, Babe, The Golden Compass, and other movies that require, uh, stuff and things.

It's Marvel, they are still holding onto Spidey's huge release thinking every Marvel film should be that successful. The first Hulk was nowhere near a box-office failure, but because it wasn't Spidey's numbers, they thought something was wrong and allows the myth Hulk was a failure to become mandate.

Iron Man will be big no doubt, but I'm not thinkling $250 million opening weekend, people have alot of serious financial concerns this summer in the U.S.

agreed, it wasnt just Marvel, Universal also thought they had another spidey type hit on thier hands and, well, you know. About the last part, it isnt just the poeple in the US, here in the UK, its kicking us in the balls too. But you guys got it worse though.

I'm still shaking my head that Marvel still has Universal distributing and marketing the Incredible Hulk, concidering how much they screwed up the first film. It will always make me angry how they dropped the ball on the spin of the leaked workprint.

Yeah, you Brit's don't have George W. sticking the hard times up your poop shoot. Makes things harder for the rest of us with this clown in charge. "Hey, you can barely make bill payments? Here $600, go spend it! After all, I'm giving your own tax money back to you!"

The recession is hotting world wide even if the US as usual is the precursor. We shall see which one is more successful and that will largely depend on the quality of the product. The state of the financial markets will only have a loose impact on the results as long as they stay as they are. If they worsen, that will be another story.
