they changed the lighting. the first time the whole sky was dark because of all the smoke that was in the air. smoke that was created when destroying all the buildings,....
it was not unrealistic.
then they changed the lighting so that the sky was more clean. no smoke in the air. and the sunny day was more directo. more sharp shadows. i think both scenes were realistic. its just that the first scene is nto very coommon to people so they thought that it was to much stylized.
the problem with the hulk footage was never the lighting but the shaders itself.
IMO of course

The movement was also a bit less neat, less "robotic" in the second version. It made a big difference, and it was pretty close to the release of the movie. That´s the point.

aha point.
well the shot was changed because of the internet complainnig. ask RDJ :)

The cgi feels much better but a lot of the footage has that 'sped up' feel to them,

Are you saying we matter? WE MATTER!

Woo-hoo! :word:

Considering it has been mentioned by many different people working on the film that they do visit these message boards to see our reactions...I'd say yeah.

Is it really a mystery to all of you as to why the CGI has improved? Has no one in here thought what we were seeing before was 75% finished CGI work? Chances are they'll be tweaking things right up until the 11th hour.

P.S. Anyone catch either Hulk or Abomination talking in this trailer?

These shots are constantly tweaked anyway. He was probably throwing a bone. People don´t change movies because there is people b***ing on the Internet, if they did, they´d go insane. B***ing and moaning, often for no good reason, is pretty much the Internet´s national sport.

maybe. i am also think that it is stupid to change something because of the internet complaining.

Honestly IMO this shot here beats anything in Ang's film and I loved Ang's Hulk.

That shot blows my mind and the changes are so evident. The hair, skin texture, lighting and the addition of the ripped shirt....that looks identical to sal Buscema's Hulk from the 70's, which is the difinitive savage Hulk to me.
See below.

If the studios stopped to look at every message board complaint and tried to appease every disgruntled voice they'd never finish these films.

Your right, but its good to see that they take some of the comments onboard, and in turn this leads to a better and richer movie imo.

I don't think the studio improved the CGI because of all the complainers, they were simply sitting back and laughing at them while improving the effects anyway because that it was their plan all along to have them upto this standard.

That shot would not look out of place in the comic, from the atmospheric setting to the hulk himself.

I agree hence the lateness of the 1st teaser.

Lol, why do you think that? It was changed because it wasn't finished.

I'd said this before to all the people who criticized the CGI from the first trailer we got. I think I said something like, "What part of unfinished CGI do you not understand?" I forgot what thread I stated this in. It's not uncommon to be working on CGI right up until the release ate. I believe this was the case with all of the LOTR movies. The thing with artists (I'm talking about true, creatively driven artists with the CGI field.) they're always tweaking things for as long as they are humanly possible to get them as high quality as they can.

Funny how this poll has changed after the TV spots have been revealed. I seem to recall the Nays almost Dead even with the Yeahs. But now look at the results.

TBH it sounds asif the complainers are trying to justify all their moaning by saying the effects were improved because of them :whatever:.

BRILLIANT!!! FRIGGIN' BRILLIANT!!

Some people get the moving blurred shots confused with stills too... duh...

Well, I have put alot of faith in this movie. As flawed as Ang's movie was I still liked it. And I am putting my trust with those working on this new franchise that they won't let me, you the fans and all the other nonfan movie audiences down unlike a certain franchise whose name I will not mention.

If some of the CGI was improved, it was because that was always going to be the case, not because of complaints on a messageboard.

The numbers on the poll show what the majority thinks... Whiners keep on whining! This movie is gonna blow 03' COMPLETELY from the memory banks... It wasn't horrible Ang just did too many things wrong! And that's from someone who enjoyed and defended the movie.
