I think most people are coming round to the fact that this hulk wipes the floor with angs hulk, even though I liked that film after this hits angs take will be consigned to the vault alongside batman & robin, the flash...oh lets not forget dolphs punisher.

I think he does cos LL said in an interview that they had to make them both speak, roth did the voice for abom and he said it was only right for Ferrigno to voice the hulk.

Even now I notice you're hesitant to give the CGI the credit it deserves, you were one of the people claiming it wasn't going to improve, that it wouldn't get to Ang hulk level, with us all telling you to give it time. Now we have great cgi and you still come across as not wanting to accept that it is great now, sorry if that's not how you feel but that's the impression I get from your posts.

Hey Dotten, thank you for posting those comparison pics!
I can't believe what a HUGE difference such SMALL changes can make!
The extra bulk and mess in the hair, the slight changes to the furrowed brow and space/shadows between the eyes and eyebrow, the shape of the mouth (the second one is slightly closed/smaller); this looks like THE Hulk! I'm just glad Sal Buscema is still alive to see his Hulk on the big screen! And, if you think about it, when Ernie Chan embellished Sal's layouts, the Hulk always looked more muscular, vascular, and ripped than he usually did. So, I'm glad Ernie Chan can see this movie, too!

Seriously, the face of that second pic literally looks like Sal Buscema's Hulk stepped right off the page. It's like Sal was using this pic as reference back in the 70's to draw the Hulk. Uncanny!

That was a really good shot in angs hulk, still prefer the styling in the new hulk, cos he looks so vicious.

The medium of film has become so sophisticated that some films today are incredible spectacles. I think ang's film was a bit avarage whereas from what i've seen of the new film it looks like it has truly utilised this sophisticated teqhnology to make something great. It looks like the director might have created something dramaticly thrilling aswell.

Thanks. I recently saw the trailer for this film and had to get involved on the forums. These new marvel films are trampeling over all the old super hero films. In the time between the original superman films and the BB film i dont think there was a super hero film worth talking about.

As others have said, the Hulk's strength is almost unmatched in a hand to hand physical sense. But I was really referring to his old tag-line that he use to use in every issue (among his others like Hulk Smash, Puny Human etc.), and I for one, don't want to be in disagreement with the Hulk

I'm still sticking to my original thoughts, which is that Ang's film was incredibly inconsistent, but the parts that were good were extremely good. Now this new Hulk seems to be shaping up well, but the real jury is out until the film opens. That being said, the design is good, and the action seems to be there, hopefully once we see it in full motion throughout the whole movie, it won't vary wildly from scene to scene like the previous one did

Ang Lee's hulk was proportioned like the classic stocky Hulk of the 60's and 70's

Leterrier's Hulk is proportioned like the new sleeker Hulk of the 90's and beyond.

I really don't see how this is even open to debate. There is a pretty dramatic difference.

This from the guy who has use words like "shading" and "render" to make his critical comments sound legit. And then your resorting to calling peoples "babies" and "pathetic" because they see through your little disguise.

I think someone needs a time out.

The thing I love about looking at this shot is that in terms of CGI this and the other facial shot of the new hulk are on par (lets be honest you can't really improve on this much). Now in terms of design the new Hulk is far superior, so overall the new hulk is the winner, lets just hope he stays consistant throughout the movie.
