im thinking it will be PG-13

sorry if this has been done before ?

its obvious that a big budget summer action comic book movie will be R rated.

NC-17.
Liv is going full frontal hardcore this time.

Doubt there will be any nudity or coarse language. The only hits I see are comic violence and scary images.

Does The Matrix, Terminator and Aliens/Predator count in that audience?

Still, it'll be a PG-13/12A/M I guess.

They'll most likely cut it down to a PG-13 but I'm hoping there will be an R rated or unrated directors cut on DVD with some raw action, that only the Hulk can provide.

It was ALWAYS going to be PG-13. Any big film anymore is PG-13, Hollywood rarely has the balls to make decent R rated films anymore.

i think never will a popular superhero like hulk will ever ever have a rated r film, i dont even think the directors cut would be "unrated" or "rated-R".

matrix doesnt count IMO since it has a very complex story.

terminator and aliens are old movies. back in the 80's rating was different then today.

No doubt.

I read an interview where Louis Leterrier said that there would be green blood splattered around the city or something to that effect. I'll reserve hope for the MAX styled adult version.

No doubt.

i read that interview too,but remember kids are most likley going to see this with thier parents and want on DVD as well.

PG-13 for stylized violence. R assures a bomb.

R doesn't assure a bomb, it just means your not filling seats with obnoxious-ass yapping pre-teens.

Yes but 'there will be blood.' Loved that movie.:woot::cwink:

I don't know where you're from, but in the US, it' not uncommon to release many versions of a movie with different ratings on DVD.

i know that i live in the unitedstates, but i highly doubt the movie will have a rated r version.
and if its unrated its because of extended scenes not shown in theatres, and yes there will be blood but i dont think were looking at anything so grusom its gonna make anyone change thier minds about rating it r or unrated.
like the daredevil movie it was pg13 but there was a directors cut that was rated r, i think you could maybe expect multiple ratings from a movie like wolverine on an uncut version and theatre version but not in hulk.

I would just have a hard time visualizing Hulk in an R rated movie. Certainly, it would be awesome. I just never got the impression from the comics that the stories could be gritty and R rated... or maybe my idea of a good R rated comic movie is a Punisher MAX movie.

Wolverine would make a cool R rated movie, but I thought they were shooting for PG13.

Can there be any doubt that it will be PG-13 ??

I just don't see any other possibility. i rather doubt a unrated DVD version either--unless the unrated is simply because they wouldn't submit the re-cut---not because of 'R' content.

I think it'll be PG-13, because most of the superhero movies are PG-13.
