It was said by Kevin Feige that the movie will be the Winter Soldier of Phase 3, and Mark Ruffalo has recently said Ragnarok will begin a storyline for the Hulk that will run through those two movies. As we all know, The Winter Soldier proved to be important to the beginning of Age of Ultron, with SHIELD disbanding and the Avengers being forced to reassemble to battle HYDRA.

How do you think this movie will tie into Infinity War? How will it set the stage?

Cate Blanchetts character might be Thanos's lady love.

Making Hela a substitute for Death would be a good way to connect the two stories without causing a big fuss.

Plus having two death-themed villainesses would be kind of redundant.

A big HELL YES to Cate=Hela=Death.

I don't know how I feel about that. For one, I'm into it. However, I love the concept of abstract beings. Embodiments of universal concepts, it's magnificent.

Plus, it should be worth noting that in the GOTG art book (I think?), there is a picture of a carving on a wall with four abstract beings, Death, Eternity, Entropy, and either Infinity or Oblivion. Maybe Hela is the embodiment of the abstract death?
But with that art book, infinity war, and Doctor strange, I do think some
Abstract beings may become a little bit relevant.. Perhaps Hela is the embodiment of the universal abstract, death?

Yup, that's pretty much what most are suggesting... and I think the route Marvel will take. Here's what I got...

The abstract Death basically chooses to manifest it/herself to Asgardians as Hela and to, say, humans etc. as the Death we know it/her from the IG comics. Basically, Death kinda curating a culture-specific image of it/herself for different species, races, etc. :)

That would make sense. Much like how Galactis can change his appearance but chooses to appear to us as a 300 fooot tall caucasian male with purple armor.

I stil think Hela and Death should be one character. Just different appearances to each being. To some she's Hela, to others she's death. Too humans she's Satan, and so on so forth.

Thanos showing up to woo her could be the ending.
