I enjoyed the movie. I can see why Kim Jung Un never wanted this movie to see the light of day lol.

Youtube + chromecast + the interview on Christmas Day = awesome

The only piece that was counterintuitive is why I needed to rent the movie on my laptop via youtube prior to it being available on my iOS youtube app. Seems very stupid of youtube/google to not allow me to rent movies on my iphone/ipad

I just read that:

Reports now have Netflix may begin streaming THE INTERVIEW within the next few days.

They were never gonna let this marketing blitz get away.

Yeah they announced that a couple days ago. I'll probably just watch it there

The movie had some real solid laughs. Some of the jokes fell flat, but the pacing was good and the climax was hilarious. A solid 7.5/10 for me.

This film would have gone quietly by but now everyone wants to see it at least out of curiosity.

So, I'm watching the Movie right now. Got to the "Guys, I'm very unhappy right now." part. I'm laughing like a ******ed seal. :funny:

North Korea is continuing to deny involvement and propose a joint-investigation. Why would they waste their own resources to aid in an investigation that would only further prove their own guilt?

This story just keeps getting more and more complicated. If only there was another incident we could compare this to, one in which a US investigation into a mysterious attack proved to be inaccurate and the investigation from the country they blamed and went to war with turned out to be true.

What's that? Spain proposed a joint-investigation into the sinking of the USS Maine after the United States investigation blamed it on them? And the results of the Spanish investigation proved to be accurate when the case was opened again years later, proving their innocence?
People underestimate how old this kind of shady business really is.
The US wanted to take Spain's holdings in the Americas like Cuba and Puerto Rico. It was a despicable bit of Manifest Destiny Foreign Policy but what in the world does NK have other than starving people locked in a bizarre cult of personality and why would anyone want to go to war with NK to get that?

Saw it. Liked it! Possibly the best stoner political satire out there. Felt like James Franco and Seth Rogen were playing an extension of their characters in This Is The End, with some Anchorman-esque moments thrown in (Franco's Skylark channeling Ron Burgundy at times).

The breakout star was Randall Park, however. Thought he brought an unexpected range to a role which could have been tediously one-note if it was, say, acted by Bobby Lee. Park's Kim was variously hilarious, charming, vulnerable, menacing.

My favourite exchange was the honeydicking dialogue in Korean which ended in "your butthole is ironic!"

A plus point was the use of actual Korean actors in the major North Korean roles. Nice touch.

Watched it, I wish I liked it more. Dave Skylark was too dumb, the story too eh. It was just ok. But free speech ftw, no?

yeah the whole movie was classic I enjoyed it a lot, tons of DAFUQ moments in there, the guy who played Kim was awesome in all versions of his character. and NICE use of Katy Perry's Firework :funny:.

I thought it was really funny though I think it's best seen with a crowd instead of rented on a computer. I watched it with a really receptive crowd and it enhanced the enjoyment I'd have vs a small group or by myself. If you get to see it in theaters, do so

I feel like that's the case with more comedies. I feel like theyre always more fun in the theaters with some people then at home either with people or not.

Definitely.

I agree way more fun with one the audience laughed at all the LOL moments and reacted accordingly to the WTF was that moments.

Saw the movie online, totally worth it for the LOLs alone. :D

Not the funniest movie ever, but still had some great humor,
despite all the hubbub.

Comedies and horror both are more fun with a crowd imo

totally agree!!! 22 jump street was even more hilarious with a packed crowd. The Paranormal Activity movies are also a BLAST to see with a large crowd. I would have liked to have seen this in theaters but sadly none in my area are showing it. I debating on watching it on Youtube or wait until it pops up on Netflix.

Just saw this online.

6/10

It's ok but certainly not their best work.
