I want to see this because of Lizzy Caplan. Well I'm sure the movie will be funny too but she's hot! I've seen her in Masters of Sex but for some reason she looks way better in the trailers for this movie.

I was kinda on the fence about this (thought it would be funny, but wasn't in a rush to see it), but earlier this week, I saw the trailer where Franco tells Kim that in our country, "Stalin" is pronounced "Stallone" and now I am 100% on board. I have no idea why, but that gag got me. I will be there in the theater now.

Regal Cinemas, Cinemark, Cineplex and AMC Entertainment will not show “The Interview” after Sony Pictures Entertainment hackers posted a message threatening movie theaters and moviegoers who attend screenings of the satire.

They represent four of the five largest chains, and join Bow Tie Cinemas and Carmike in deciding not to show the picture. More theater circuits are expected to follow suit.

As I said in another thread I bet by the weekend Sony will decide to not even release the movie.
Which sucks because it's not event their fault.

Worse comes to worse they can just sell the renting rights of the movie to Netflix, Comcast, amazon instant video much earlier with a 5 dollar or so rent charge. I'd definitely rent it on Christmas!! t:

Exactly. It is the same mindset of a bully.
"Give me your lunch money" says the bully, and the little boy caves in and gives the bully his lunch money.
He then comes and asks him a second time "Give me your lunch money!" the boy caves in again and give the bully his lunch money... this pattern goes on and on and on and on and on. Until the day the boy says "NO" and punches the bully right in the mouth.

The moral of the story -> **** North Korea, **** the Sony Hackers. **** Kim jong un
