I don't think the iPhones and iPods have Flash, which is why YouTube and other Flash-based things have to have special apps to allow you to view them. If the iPad has the same Flash-less browser and the Marvel Digital Comics viewer is Flash-based, that would be why people are saying it doesn't work.

Ah, I did hear the big complaint about the iPad is that it didn't have Flash.

Yeah, that'd be why. Apple does not seem to like Flash. They probably couldn't come to a licensing agreement with Adobe or something.
