The Jaimie Alexander/Lady Sif thread

Nice thanks Herolee, now that I see them together I think I prefer Sif's newer armor but both are cool.

No problem.

I think the reason why I personally prefer the armor from the first film is because it has more...how do I describe this?..hmm..it has more details to it in a way. More lines and shapes as opposed to the one in the second film where it's more broad, if that makes sense.lol

It makes perfect sense and I agree, however the newer armor seems more "battle ready" to me.

The problem is that armor is supposed to be about practicality and protection, not style. I couldn't care less if her armor has more details, I care if it works like its supposed to. This armor looks like it does that better than the armor from the first movie, so its better.

That's actually not true. The armor used by knights/samurai/noblemen in medieval Europe and Japan (et al) absolutely incorporated purely aesthetic elements, often at the expense of practicality. Style mattered then as now.

And for the highborn, "ceremonial" armor has existed almost as long as practical armor.

I know that, I just don't care. This armor looks better than the one in the first movie to me, that's my opinion.

She pulls off those phenomenally stupid looking Reindeer horns pretty well.

Damn Jaimie is hot, possibly the hottest woman in this franchise, and thats no mean feat when she is against Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings.

No possible about it. The Lady Sif is on fire.

Tellin' ya, Marvel would rake in the cash if they did a Marvel Cinematic Swimsuit issue with the main Actors

You get Jaimie, Hayley, and Kat to say yes and it will make more money then the Avengers. :awesome:

Damn right it would, I would see it 15 times at least! Hell throw in Gwyneth, Liv, Scarlett, Natalie and newcomers Emily Van Camp and Zoe Saldana and you have BO gold!

Yep. I get the entire family together to watch the Marvel films in theater. We always have dinner afterwards. If I have to hear about Thor's shoulders one more time... :o

Scarlett, Karen and Emily. Oh yes. How could I forget? :D
