I'm sorry but this board has gotten stupider. A couple of years ago and everyone here would be smart enough to know that the Laura Croft movies are terrible. Yeah I know it's opinion but seriously, get some taste. The first movie was mind-numbingly stupid and the second one i couldn't even get through, it was a waste of time and required you to be a stupid moron whose only joy is to fawn over Angelina Jolie for an hour and a half. Boring, dull, crappy and pointless. :

awful movies....jolie was miscast. the character of croft was nothing like how she was portrayed in the movies...with jolie playing her as some self-aware, nudge nudge wink wink i'm a girl, gun-toting ****e. that was never lara croft. the whole appeal of that character is that she doesn't really know that she's sexy, but is just doing her own thing and is mega resourceful etc.

I always thought the TR movies were missed opportunities...they should have been classier;along the lines of Raiders. I remember suggesting that Keira Knightley could make a could croft in a reboot (she's got the face and the accent) but most ppl objected on imdb because she didn't have a big enough rack!

I felt both Tomb Raider films were ... alright. Angelina Jolie made them watchable.

They were decent flicks, certainly better than most videogame-based movies. Nothing earth shattering, but definitely a step up from Mortal Kombat.

Jolie was ok, but Liz Hurley should have been Lara. I'll never forgive them for that one.
